Are we witnessing the end of the monarchy? Clermont don’t lose in the Marcel Michelin.

I think I am an enjoying this result too much!

Is it time to talk about the Premiership's automatic places in this competition yet?

A weak league, entertaining the idea of removing relegation (only shocking leagues have no relegation), unable to earn a single victory over a weekend.

    Embarrassing.

    Letting the competition down.

No wonder the cup didn't get the title sponsors it deserves. How much longer can we realistically subsidise and support this woefully under performing league?

    Where is Mark McCafferty?

    If this continues we'll hear

    A) We never wanted to win it anyway the league is more important

    B) The aviva is too competitive for us to compete on two fronts, something, something relegation.

Saracens are really struggling at the moment. Hard to know how good Clermont are as they breezed in for some of the tries.

Going by the comments it seems the French were a bit pissed about their treatment with the rearrangement of this game so maybe plenty of motivation there.

Not surprised to see Saracens struggling with a lot of their players on Lions duty.
Goes to show how important the rest was for the Irish lads.

Billy Vunipola had said previously how the players felt they were overburdened with games. Perhaps we are seeing it now.

With no relegation in the Pro14 it is easy to rest lads when you could finish 3rd in your conference and still win the competition out from there.

Subscriptions to two sports packages, it's what the fans wanted. :P

It would have been unthinkable a few months ago for Saracens to lose 4 on the trot. Lose next week and there's no way they're topping their pool. However, with the Ospreys and Northampton in their pool, I'd still expect them to get at least 19 points and proceed to the quarter finals anyway.

is it bad that after watching my team win at the home of the English champions yesterday that I get more pleasure out of what I've just watched

Marvellous weekend in Europe for the cream of English rugby! Played 7 lost 7 and got comprehensively stuffed in 5 games - Bath were a tad unlucky at Toulon and Exeter might have scraped a losing BP if they had got the penalty try. Putting my neck out a bit, I can only see Bath managing a win next weekend in the reverse fixtures!

Nope, I feel exactly the same way. It's partly because we all dislike Sarries, but also because we all love those fantastic Clermont supporters!

I tried to cancel after my 'cheap' 2 months last week - they immediately offered me 2 more months at the reduced price.

Except for the times they do. Clermont are excellent at home but the days of a visit there being a guaranteed home win are gone.

its quickly turned into the biggest game of the weekend easily. Saracens going there looking deflated and unable to break this new habit of there.

a lot of rugby to be played but suddenly the winner of this years comp could be anyone from 4/5 teams

Crazy that there is still no app for this competition.

On the site it is a hassle to find what channels the games are on.

I wish the 42.ie would put up the tv stations on the fixtures.
