What the everloving **** was that at the start of the Toulon Bath game? A man with a Mike Tyson-like facial tattoo holding a pomeranian screaming some hype into a mic and getting responses from the crowd??

It's their version of having James Heaslip (the good one not the headphones guy) encourage a young mascot to leather some innocent punter in the Clan stand before a Connacht match in the SG.

Super try for Bath. Brew with a tidy offload too.

Enjoyable game so far. Both teams throwing the ball around

Not a deliberate knock on from Toulon?

  • Exeter Chiefs
    Clear as day that's a deliberate knock-on.

Joseph having a very impressive game. Pace, right options, straightens, draws, passes etc. Toulon 14 having a defensive shocker.

It's a shame Joseph had too much class to Ash Splash. Would have been amazing.

Tuisova and Ashton... The chuckle brothers would have made less of a balls of that...

What an absolutely delightful moment for Ashton :D

Tried to clear it from under his own posts. Sliced the ball so badly that it landed just beyond the try line right by the right hand touchline. Jonathan Joseph gratefully gathered the ball and cantered over for a try.

    It was absolutely spectacular.

Clearance kick about 2m forward straight into Jonathan Joseph's hands for a try.

Toulon had a lineout on their five yard line. They take it 'quickly' and miss the player they threw to. It lands in Ashton's hands behind his own posts. He slices a kick to Joseph five yards out on the opposite touchline. Joseph runs it under the posts.

    Absolute omnishambles.

    Lovely clearance by Ashton there!

  • Exeter Chiefs
There are no words for how badly the Bath SH butchered that. He's cost them the game. He just had to run in under the posts, you could have driven a bus through the gap.

Ashton might have butchered that when all he had to do was pick and dot it down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

Surely a double movement from Ashton there???
