Two yellow cards in a row completely snuffed them out.

Has there ever been a European group this tough before?

Jeasus Glasgow are the dumbest professional team I've ever seen! You wouldn't see that level of decision making in a club tour game after 2 days of drinking!

Dead right not to go for the lineout.....it's been awful.

Even if it was good, they needed a 7 pointer. A maul try (which is what they'd probably have been looking at) would have left them with a very tricky kick.

But awful showing and the last 10 minutes of the first half has killed their European season.

They'll now be hot favourites to maintain their league form as they've nothing else to focus on. But not impressed with them. For a team with their level of ability and consistency over the last 6 years or so, they've f*ck all to show for it.

We might well do. I expect Exeter now to win in round 6. We need to do something special over the next 10 days i.e. beat Exeter by at least 2 match points in the two games. 6-4 would be a great situation and put us on 16 to their 12.

I'd love a penny for Rennie's thoughts right now.

Hogg talking in platitudes. "We'll look to build on this."

What about the last 7 seasons? If you don't know how to win these games by now, you never will. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hogg take a long hard look at a foreign offers next year when he sits down to negotiate. In fact, I expect him to leave.

If they dont involve the hooker and the scrum half getting a serious beating out the back of the stand after their stupidity tonight then he should resign

I fancy us a lot more to get a result in Montpellier than Exeter. Problem is the Exeter won down there, and will probably do likewise against Montpellier at home. So unless we can match that, we need something special over the next two weeks.

  • Exeter Chiefs
There are too many ****ing away wins in this pool! Yet another result that's no good for us at all.

Well let's hope this trend continues to the conclusion of this weekend!

    Exeter Chiefs
    Ridiculous red card for me.

Italian teams getting absolutely shafted by a ref as usual.

That was probably not even a yellow. He lifted his legs to ground him and he barely went beyond the horizontal. Not sure how you can drive someone into the ground from beneath them.

Raynal just handed out an extremely harsh red card in the Scarlets Treviso match

can't watch the match...keeping up to date on my phone... was the red card one of those by the letter of the law its a red but in the moment a yellow?

You have to laugh at Robbo. Mistakes a knock on for a crooked lineout but knows that the hooker has a gold tooth made out of his father's wedding ring.

He drove him head first to the ground, can't really have any complaints.

He didn't drive him... he was kneeling on the ground below him, he couldn't have. There were also 2 mitigating factors in that he landed on his shoulder first(the TMO told Raynal this 3 or 4 times but Raynal ignored it) and that there was a second player involved which caused the whole thing in the first place.

Yep, agree with all of that.

For me a ridiculous red card that has ruined a decent game, although fair play to the 14 men of Treviso who are showing a bit of fight.

As always, the asinine warblings of Robbo are driving me demented - he really should be gagged and sent to deepest Peru on a one-way ticket.

This is actually a really interesting tidbit. Even his co-commentator was interested. Wonder does he talk like that all the time.

    The better team losing here.

    Scrums killing Treviso.

Attendance looks really poor. Looks like the place is only about 30% full. I get that it's Treviso but it's still Champions Cup and a Saturday match.

Being fair to him (which I find rather difficult!) his description of Johnny Barclay's concussion and snoring was interesting.

So I went digging for the article that he mentioned and found it:

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/41901283

"That dizziness, the light-headedness, the migraines stayed for weeks. I became irritable and sensitive to noise. I knew I was being irritable but I couldn't get rid of it. Maybe the irritability had a bit to do with concussion and a bit to do with the tedium, or maybe the two are inter-connected."

    Good try Treviso! Bravissimo Esposito!

Great conversion by Tommy Allen too! 21 all.

Go on Treviso! That winger is having some game.

For all their league form the last few years, Glasgow and the Scarlets have been awful in Europe far too often
