ChristmasFM was testing in the south east tonight on 103.8.

It made a 2 hour journey home a real delight :D

Cork relay now blaring out Last Christmas on 106.7 FM.. RDS is "WIMS" which is left unchanged from the last service on the frequency, should be changed before launch date

Nothing on 105.0 Kerry or 105.5 Limerick at present

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" :)

I missed the beginning of the broadcast because my boss wanted to have a 5min discussion that lasted 30mins. :(

I'm in work so I couldn't tune in either. :/

Ah well, plenty of time to listen in the coming days and weeks I guess!

I’ve sent in a request, so excited but hasn’t been mentioned yet. Hopefully the international link on the site works

Nearly had a breakdown trying to listen in. :D I had several issues with the app, website and internet but I managed to get it working with about 30 seconds to go. There is nothing like the feeling of walking through town all wrapped up listening to the countdown to Christmas FM. I'd say I looked demented but I was so happy!

And then I saw the first car antlers of the year!

Jude was that your request from Dubai?

I've never been on for the launch due to work but I'm off sick today. Just what the doctor ordered!

They have on their website broadcasting on 105.5 fm in North Tipperary but when I tuned in my radio for the launch all I got was static. Very disappointed had to go online.

Have been glued since Tuesday and will be till it's finished for the year :D

What I like most is, it blends commercial, well-known Christmas songs with the lesser-known ones brilliantly. Gets the balance 100%. It wouldn't be the same if it was Mariah Carey/Pogues etc. on loop every hour, like the TV channels

I can barely ever recall having to change the channel when any song has come on. The chat to music ratio is perfect aswell. It's just great for the soul!

It's just not the same for me playing the songs on my own pre-determined playlist. When they come on randomly on Christmas FM in the car/at work it's just so much more special imo!

They play some great Christmas classics mixed with more modern songs and that's why I love Christmas FM

I'm loving Christmas FM North Pole this year. I listen to the regular station at home and in the car but when I'm in work sometimes the chat between the songs can be a little distracting so the non-stop music of Christmas FM North Pole is perfect.

Kelly Clarkson underneath the tree is an absolute tune, I'm always amazed how it never really made it mainstream

It does seem to be growing in airplay each year though :)

Is the final day of broadcasting tomorrow? I thought it was usually the 26th?

It usually is it thankfully they’ve extended it by a day.

Delighted! It’s always a bit disappointing travelling home with no Christmas FM!

It ended the 27th last year too. Great having the extra day. :)

I really will miss it so much. I keep my Christmas season going until at least the 5th, 6th or 7th and would love to have Christmas FM on those days too. It's just such a wonderful, wonderful addition to the season. I fully understand why it goes, it's a volunteer station with a fundraising mission and that's best served earlier in the season. But I will miss it over the next few days though I'm mainly just incredibly grateful that we have such a unique and lovely station for the month that we do have it.

Couldn't put it better myself. It really adds to the excitement of the build up to Christmas.
Such a unique concept that had helped so many worthy causes.

And it’s all over for FM. still rocking it online. I will miss it for sure this year we got to listen to it a lot more in work so it really felt festive in the office.

I really liked the mix this year and I didn’t hear Christmas shoes once. :D

Great work again by everyone at ChristmasFM. Roll on November 2018 when it’s back on the airwaves again.
