    HI all,

Have been requested that Santa brings an Arduino kit for a 3rd year Computer Science student :) Can anyone suggest a good quality kit for less than €100 that can be bought to arrive before Christmas? I guess this rules out the Far East at this point.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    JP

There are plenty of choices on amazon. I found some elegoo kits(arduino clones) 30-60 pounds.
As alternative or addon have a look at NodeMCU(esp8266) kits. These are more powerfull compared to arduino and also geared to IoT. The good thing is that it is can be programmed using same arduino interface and majority of the parts from arduino kits do work with it also.
