In America, black people are called African American. Why aren't white people called European American?

I have relations that moved from Rhodesia (Zimbabwe now) to America and they had children born in America...are they African Americans..... even if they're white folk?

I know there's a hint in the name but I just had a bag of Salt & Vinegar crisps (Hunky Dorys) and I probably have enough salt to do me well into the new year.

Especially when you pass each other in the aisle, meaning yiss'll be criss-crossing throughout the whole shop.

The trick is to walk to the end of the aisle, turn around and basically follow them around the shop at a distance. Pray to Jesus they don't use the same trick.

Trivially happy that with CF I lose a lot of salt in my sweat so my dietitian gives out to me for not adding it to meals :p I can have as much salt as I like! Muwahahaha. When my missus gives me a kiss she tells me that I taste like a peanut sometimes and when it's warm if I touch my face there are salt crystals coming off on to my hand, animals love me :p

Yes but that excludes all toll roads. i want to exclude the port tunnel. i dont want to exclude the M50.
Drag one on the white dots to one of the roads either side until it snaps to a new route, do it both sides.

Or try as a bicycle route to get other options.

    Feel a migraine coming on......

    Feel a migraine coming on......

Nothing worse :( I find in the days preceding a migraine I have a savage hunger, no amount of food could fill me, also can't stop running to the toilet ( no. 1s). I don't get a bad headache , but get the whole zig zag colours across my field of vision and end up wiped out. Excedrin are very good at nipping it in the bud and taking away the worst of it.

My TA, I regularly take a back road over the main road, quicker, way less traffic and though it is hairy in places I am driving it so long I know it well. A massive coach came round a blind bend at me the other evening, I nearly crapped myself:(. I have never seen a coach on that road before.

Getting stuck behind someone driving really slow and swerving around the road because they're on their phone.
Overtaking a slow driver and then having to deal with them driving up your actual hole because they've decided to speed up all of a sudden.
Grown adults in college who think they're still in primary school and try to create division in a class, "oh you can't sit here, the seats are booked", me: "ha, this is a classroom, not an airplane". Also, on this note, the "cool" kids sniggering and mocking those who they perceive to be "uncool". Nope, I do not sit by and watch that without saying something. There's people in my class in their 50s who have returned to education, I think they should be fucking celebrated!!
Having the sniffles ahead of a weekend full of college work. I hope it doesn't turn into a full blown cold.
I'm on my second course of antivirals for the coldsore virus, please fuck off my face now.
I feel absolutely wrecked and I look absolutely wrecked. Life is really taking it out of me at the moment.

TAd that I've lost my charm bracelet. It has years of birthday and Christmas presents on it. I've taken the house apart looking for it, called hotels I've stayed in, called old jobs looking for it, searched lost propery boxes at leisure centres, the library, the supermarket. I've taken the car apart but today in a last effort the car is being valeted to see if they can find it
Will be very upset if it doesn't turn up.

New colleague is in her third week in the department. She has absolutely horrendous time management so she's always asking for help finishing things, which I had no problem chipping in with as I know it can be hard to find your feet initially in a very busy role. That was until I found out that she smokes and that's why she can't get all her tasks done everyday. She arrives late every morning, supposed to be in at half 8, arrives between 9 and 20 past 9 and within 10 minutes of arriving, she's out for her first smoke break... So you can imagine what she's like for the rest of the day.

I hope it is found, tringle :). My mother gave me her charm bracelet for my debs. It had charms given to her by work friends and my Dad, and the OH got some to add to it for me. It just totally disappeared. I went to get it and it wasn't where I assumed it was and I haven't seen it since. That was over 20 yrs ago now and I often wonder where the hell it could be, we moved house since too. My mother would ask me the odd time did I ever find it , the guilt :(.

TA at how I over think things constantly. This morning I have been agonising over the wording of a couple of simple text messages to some one I don't know well, afraid I will sound like a weirdo.

    .

Thanks, its really annoying, I've taken mattresses off beds, emptied presses even emptied out the freezer. If karma works as it should then it should come back to me as a few years ago I got sent a hamper and found a gold and diamond engagement ring in it. One of the hamper company employees had lost it, I made sure she got it back even though she lived abroad, so I feel the universe owes me this.

TAd now that as I'm stuck at home with no car I planned on spending the day batch cooking for the freezer. Stopped and did the shopping and forgot to buy the chicken and no way to get back to town for it.
