Has anyone got a log of private Jets that took off from Dublin today?

How can I tune in to the airline radio?

Seems like a few planes can't land according to flightradar. Heard on chatter something about an airstrike and debris on the runway, but can't really be certain. Just interested.

    Well that's embarassing.. :o:o

What's the 'debris' for? Was there a plane involved in the issue?

I'm not sure to be honest, seems to have been quite a few bunnies, tower ATC said it's the worst he's seen, nothing has moved for about 40 minutes now

EI-DES was able to take off just there from a different runway to the main one.

If there was a "hare strike", that would suggest a plane hit hare(s). The debris could be from the plane, but it's probably more likely that it's hare carcasses or pieces thereof, which could cause damage to another aircraft if they hit it or it was sucked into an engine.

Dublin has quite a big problem with hares... theres piles of them, but they can't shoot them because they are a protected species.

Shannon is the same, they are everywhere.

Yeah was holding at Kerav for 25 minutes til they opened 16.

Took them long enough to clean the runway. Apparently a lot of bone matter. Sweeper truck was out to help with the clean up too.

Was wondering why departing planes were flying over Blackrock/Dun Laoghaire earlier. The odd flight to Bristol, Cardiff and Kerry goes over us in the evenings but there was a few more than usual today.

LiveATC app on your phone, select 'Dublin' or 'EIDW OPs'

Whats the jazz with those 2 Air Hong Kong 330's? They have been there a good few months now.

One only has one engine attached currently! Both were in for major overhauls with Dublin Aerospace and one got a new paint job too.

Guessing they are surplus to requirement currently and are parked up untill needed

Came in for maintenance and painting a good few months ago, but Air Hong Kong hasn't payed anything yet so they're been kept there until they pay up. They're taking up a big bill too! Isn't it something like €1000 to keep an aircraft parked there for a day? Or am I completely wrong?

It’s €9.60 per 15 minutes, so €38.40 per hour up to 72 hours, after 72hrs it goes up to €115.20 per hour, so for the first 3 days it’s €921.60 per 24hrs, after that it’s €2764.80 per 24hrs, for a widebody.

Thanks for sharing. Anyone know why a BA Jumbo would be in Dublin?

Surely not that many Xmas cards being posted

Due to the chaos caused by a bit of snow, at about 5pm last Sunday an ACARS was sent to all BA aircraft heading to LHR. It told all aircraft to return to the airport they departed from. Impossible for two longhauls at about 20 degrees West. As a result BA178 diverted to Dublin, BA238 diverted to BFS.
There was just no room for any more BA aircraft at LHR.

Reading through this there is a serious amount of excellent photographers for starters, but also, I'm amazed at the number of private jets flying into/out of DUB. (especially scientologists!)

All white A330 on the remote ramps. Visitor, or something else?

There was a white ASL cargo 330 doing a trip to East Midlands yesterday. Could be the same. Horses at a guess.

It's ASL's first A333F, out of cargo conversion at Dresden. Crew training and then due to be painted in DHL livery, I think.

Rumours it’ll be flying for DHL from Hong Kong
