Sexual assault is sexual assault and that can be traumatic and life changing as well.

The defense that 'he never rapes them or anything' is a bit sick to be honest.
    Mod note:
Just a quick reminder, these allegations are just that, allegations, atm.

They may be proven at a later date or dismissed as false but it isn't within our power to decide which they are.

You only have to look at the allegations about Louis Walsh a few years ago which were totally false and damaging to his reputation and career.

So lets stick with ALLEGATIONS atm, shall we?

    Buford.

As I said, I didn't read the article so don't know how it actually compares to Andy Dick.

I know a girl who went to the recording of Blind Date in the Helix in August and she said he was making jokes about big black cocks, to a black man, when the cameras weren't rolling. Not that this makes him guilty, but it should illustrate what kind of twat that he is, so wouldn't be surprised.

What was the joke? Did she say?

Well seeing as krav maga is total bollocks your boast is susceptible to my bull**** meter.

I just spent an interesting hour reading about krav and the other bull****s arts..thanks man :)

Something about the royal family and a bread bin.

As someone who grew up in the same estate as him in Tallaght I found his depiction of his childhood as highly offensive. The way he went on you would think gay people were hunted down and thrown off the roof of the square like some ISIS controlled state. A big of slagging is one thing but he just comes across as mean spirited. I hope his sub par Julian Clary act is shown the door after this.

You’re spot on. He really knew how to work his background and sexuality to his advantage. I can just imagine all the media managers bending over backwards to get him on their show.

Did he drop the hand on you too ? It's okay, you're in a safe place now

That was Porters only talent. Hes apparently well known for stealing his better comic material (ie. anything actually funny) from other lesser known comedians. Porters background got him known and he borrowed jokes from actual comedians.

No but I'm still in counseling after seeing June Rodgers in the Red Cow one Christmas if that counts?

That's the end of him. He's not established enough yet to come back from this.

Pity, I did like him. Maybe not great at the scripted comedy, but pretty good at back and forth banter. Like Dermot & Dave except clearly more rapey than them.

What are the actual reported allegations against him? Haven't seen any details, the times is behind a paywall. Slight hyperbole (only slight) but the general reaction seems to be pretty much "I don't like his comedy/persona so it must all be true".

Check twitter. Davey Reilly and George Fox provide details amongst others. Dunno if they are part of the Times thing or not. And I have shag all clue how to post tweets. Groping repeatedly to sumise.

And I have about as much of a clue on how to search Twitter. I'll give it a go but I take anything I see on Twitter with a massive pinch of salt.

Allegedly instead of shaking hands like a normal person he tried to shake a cock and slip a sly finger in a bumhole.

The sad thing is that he probably will attempt to get a show to get him back in the good books of people.

Given how Hook was treated for mere words you'd hope not.

Al should just publicly attack and disparage the character of his accuser. You know, the Clinton defence.
