I've heard there's been a few dog attacks on sheep lately again around the county (wexford) with farmers loosing sheep and others having to be put down, not to mention the stress on the rest of the flock and the mental anguish on the flock owners resorting to staying out all night with a firearm in the hope of catching the offending pouches.

KEEP YOUR DOGS ON YOUR PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES AND DON'T LET THEM TRESPASS ON FARMLAND.

Just off the whats app thingie from eldest in Melbourne. He was working a half day today (Saturday) in overcast Sunshine @ 26.C
I'd just settled back to bed to sleep when the phone notification thingie went off and he sent me this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfR9iY5y94s from Kangroo Jack.
A great family movie and one that we watched many times over.
Unfortunately the original Kangroo Jack movie poster (in his bedroom) was ripped to shreds by the cnuts that broke into the house.

That’s a pure sickener. Might be a nice gift for him in the future. If you keep an eye on eBay/Amazon one might pop up. This one is a bit dear.

Haywire, are you hoping someone gets you the, sheep earrings?

Yes Clover, but they are already acting. People need the tools now to figure out how to augment the limited supplies they have. No use looking at a ball of snow, next Feb. I'm down in Cork, doesn't affect me but now is the time to make provision.

The perfect Christmas present for anyone that wants a droid army or just someone who wants someone/something to sprong in the silage or drive a tractor or give a hand milking the cows.

What good is a robot if you haven't got the robot dog to go with it.

Notice no cocked leg either. Right job.

Is that the fella who drives a John Deere?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 951 ✭✭✭Floki

I've never watched "The Angeleus" not for a long time now anyway.
The last time I've seen it, it was some fella sketching out a pair of hands with chalk and charcoal on a street.
So it was a bit of a surprise to see an animation for this evening's Angeleus of what looked like Big Groot and Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy.

    All hail Groot.

That new Tesla electric truck will be a game changer. It has the range and performance is epic. 0-100kmph in 5 seconds unloaded, at 40tons it will do it in 20 seconds compared to a minute for a diesel truck. Very impressive.

Any reason why a cow would actually be eating lumps of Himalayan salt? Bought big lumps and now they're down to smaller bits but she'll actually take them in her mouth and chew them
    Just lacking something?

You can't mention that without giving their Roadster a mention too.
0-60mph in 1.9 seconds 0-100mph in 4.2 seconds and as quiet as a church mouse.
It's been a busy few days for Tesla with this joint presentation of the truck and roadster.

I was going to say they should build a tractor but then John Deere and Fendt already have.

Seems to be a bit of a golden age of innovation going on.

She's prob lacking in salt. She's jus using her brains so she doesn't have to lick for hours to get it.

Salt is one of minerals that if they have too much they'll stop taking it

Reminds me of a lad that works with me , he doesnt eat much but gets 2 chicken skewers at lunch time and a rake of salt sachets . He uses a few sachets and literally coats the full thing in salt .
He's lacking in something but I'm not sure that its salt :D

Glue a bit of pink rock salt to a stick and give it to him!

We dont use sugar in our house- have one bag for the puncture repair man, have it about 2 years - no salt used either. Kids wouldnt know any different, do many people still take sugar in their tea?

Same as no sugar used here either. Have the sugar bowl for any guests that call.
Used to use sugar in the house but since someone here was diagnosed with diabetes everyone gave it up and don't miss it either.
That person with diabetes now used to be a big user of sugar.
