Anyone having issues with Google Maps recently?

Not operating properly for me at all. Is has my location from where I actually am.

I got a screen protector put on my phone last week. Could that be causing it?

Working fine for me. I don't really understand the problem that you're experiencing based on what you wrote though. Could you put it another way? G-maps is supposed put your location where you actually are but I presume that you mean something else?

Sorry. Just reread my post and didn't make sense.

The problem I'm having is that when I use Google maps it shows an incorrect location for me. For example today I was in Tralee but Google maps was showing me to be 5 or 6 miles away from Tralee. As I drove along it didn't correct itself. I had full 4G so it wasn't a data issue.

I was thinking that maybe the screen protector is affecting the GPS on the phone. Is that possible?

What location settings are you using?

If the screen protector is somehow blocking the GPS sensor and is made of material that would impede a signal then yes but it would be unlikely if the screen protector is designed specifically for the Op5. Your location settings need to be set to high accuracy. I guess try a different map app and see what results you are getting from that to see if it's as Google map issue b or phone issue

So I uninstalled some dodgy apps which could be causing the reboot like Aptoide and and old version of ES File Explorer before it became bloatware, and just now installed Uptime Widget which shows how long the phone has been on for since last boot in case it reboots without me knowing.

So far the phone has been on for over 1 day 17 hours without a reboot so things are looking good.

just Dl opera VPN and update the phone from Canada if you're looking for the latest OS.

Got my phone from an out of Europe site and got caught for import duty so there was no real benefit in waiting as the cost was around the same..maybe saved 15 euro but was waiting 3 weeks. during the 3 weeks, they announced the new phone ....was otherly miffed until i saw where they put the fingerprint scanner...my workflow would make it the phone useless so actually glad i did not get the option to hold out for the + as I know what I'm like and would have paid an extra 50 euro for a slightly bigger screen( it's big enough) the plus5 is fantastic..the camera is retiring my DSLR and the 4K video is very useable. 9/10..just buy a plus 5 and they should be cheaper, that s if you can find one

When I use my one plus headphones on my OP5 both ears work fine.
If I use any other headphones only one ear works. (They work fine on other devices)

    Any ideas?

Its all clear but it works fine with the OP headphones I got from them.

Panorama mode is unusable on stock camera. Have to use alternative software solutions to get good results there.

What would you recommend for a panorama app? I use the camera a lot for work and taking panorama shots on a site etc. However since i upgraded from a HTC I cant use the pano function anymore as its beyond sh**e on the 3T I have.

Other than that (and a generally slightly below par camera overall) its a good phone.

Anyone have Bluetooth issues after the last update?
My OP5 won't connect to my Car Headunit (Audi) and it's flaky with my smart watch. Other devices are ok so far.

Apparently ZDNet Germany got a review pack and published the photos without permission.

    Leaked photos here:

Looks good to me I'm strongly considering it.

I really hope that dull screen is cos they rushed to publish those shots so didn't think to turn up/balance the brightness of displays (even tho that really should have as it looks awful.. like the GS3 from a few years back)

No surprises here, all looks good and getting rid of the telephoto was a good move (IMO)

Yea I noticed that. Presumably the screen couldn't be that dull looking? Particularly being Amoled. I only recently got an LG G6 but the 5t is tempting me. Will wait for the reviews of screen and camera first though.

Has anyone been able to get Ant+ working with the OP5? Looking on the One Plus forums it seems the hardware is there but you have to have Airplane mode on in order for it to work which doesn't work for my requirement as I need GPS running alongside Ant+.

It says the screen is 1080P?

It may as well be it only has a few extra pixels to allow for the 18:9 aspect ratio.

Got on to support yesterday, they advised a full factory reset and provided a link for the previous firmware.
