I'm in work extra early tomorrow so won't be having any wine tonight. What is the point of having to endure being an adult if I can't have wine on a Friday night

People still referring to distances in miles!

Leo this evening in his speech: were only 4 miles from the border!!

No Leo, you’re 6 km’s from the border!! Kilometres

In these times of Brexit, let’s try to be more European! Let’s try to be more metric (a system the British despise)

The Brits use metric too, it's the offical system for all trade. Only road signage and of course the pint are in Imperial units. Most Brits under 35 are very familiar with and use the metric system and despise the imperial! The only countries in the world who don't use officially use the metric system are Myanmar, Liberia, and the USA.

Glorious Kim, Emotional, Sore, And Dim week.

    But of course!

Over there it's only shark week when the Glorious Leader very generously allows for it to happen.

Any chance Leo can stop our periods too??

I don't think it happens at all in NK because Glorious Kim has all the women pregnant, all the time, through the power of his voice over the radio.

I use contraception before I type his name, just in case.

I can think of one way, but I'm not sure he'd be willing.

When you're 'working from home' for the day and you decide to hang out in your hanging out clothes that you wouldn't wear in public (PJ bottoms, tank, fluffy flipflops), then you discover you're low on milk and you can't survive the day without a mug of tea every couple of hours, and resentfully get dressed to go get some milk and take one last look in the refrigerator to see what else you need and realize you missed the large carton of milk in the door and you didn't have to get dressed at all at all at all.

10 minutes I'll never have back, wasted. FML

Kinda similar. Was at home wearing torn trackies, scruffy fleece and sandals that jesus probably wore two thousand years ago.....in other words, clothes that nobody should be seen in. Get landline call from a friend that their mobile isn't working and they are expecting an important call. Straight into car and over to them. Walked into the middle of a family gathering looking like a shipwreck.

The problem with mobile phone? Wasn't feckin switched on!

I'm TA'd that this retort to UK rule doesn't increase every year.

Been stuck at 800 for past 2 years.

Same as relics in museum, this fossil is 17m years old. Next year it is stil the same & not 17,000,001 years old.

I'm minding my niece this morning. TA'd at kids toys on a Saturday morning. She has one toy that sings The Wheels on the Bus but it's in a foreign accent and sounds like "da veels onda booos".. over and over and over.
    Can't cope.

Their not doing it anymore so it stopped at 800, hence it doesn't grow.
