Supposed to be flying to Antwerp for the weekend with a very special lady to see a Shakira gig and she has cancelled at very late notice citing illness.

Still debating whether to bother travelling as I'm returning to Oz Tuesday and can get a few more days at home. Ugh, decisions. So at the minute I'm in McDonalds having a breakfast pondering...

Couch. Buzzing after a lot of very strong coffee with my brekkie. I accidentally tipped half the bag of coffee into the press so just made extra after a really crappy night sleep.

Waiting for an eye test. Been a really stressful few days so hoping to get home to catch up on some sleep before it's time to collect the kids

At work. Taking a half day to go try sort out my appalling finances. Took on too much when I rented a house 2 months ago. Still, having a cup of tea now which is nice :)

Sitting looking pretty much as glam as I get waiting for the nod from work to tell me I don't have anything else to do so can go out and paaaaarty.

Actually just need to go get drunk. I have a guest staying with me and it is too small for both of us here really so I need to escape.

T2 Dublin Airport, pint in one hand phone in the other. Off to Merseyside for a few hours, a busman's holiday of sorts.

On my couch knackered, little man is recovering slowly, he sounds like he swallowed a whistle but he's still smiling.
I pulled the plug on Crumlin for Monday, he doesn't need a 6 hours round trip so it's postponed til Dec 4th.
It's like a big step back but it's the first time he's been ill since getting his heart fixed, the difference in his ability to cope is huge. He's a strong one :)
I'm also doing a little dance over getting a berg go kart from England for E200 cheaper than here.. lot to be said for online shopping.. lol, I've to courier it home myself but that still leaves it much cheaper.. I love a bargain .. I've exchanged about 20 emails with the guy in the shop about getting it home.. we're now exchanging best wishes for kids:D
Good end to a sh!t week. I'd love to get hammered, but I still can't stand the smell of alcohol (I've tried :( ) I might charge for lifts over Christmas.. :D

On the train home. My daughter is 5000 days old tomorrow. Should I get her a gift or am I setting a bad trend in the house?

See if you could take him for a short walk this morning. Exercise is very helpful in controlling such animals.
