I'm just gonna ask it- how the fcuk would it be pleasurable to masterbate in front of women who are literally just standing there gawking at you? It's the bloody oddest thing. Surely something like that should either be done alone, or mutually beneficial. It sounds like the most awkward, least attractive thing ever.

As women, we could never understand, Anna.:eek:

Some even went to jail and were able to resume working in the industry after their release.
A good example is Victor Salva who directed the Jeepers Creepers films. He molested a child and made kiddie porn. Unnerving stuff.

Well the Stones had Wyman getting the leg an underage girl, one Mandy Smith, who he later married when she turned 18, however he was "seeing her" when she was 13 and according to her they had sex when she was 14 and he was nearly 50. Led Zeppelin had Jimmy Page, another who was sleeping with at least one underage 13/14 year old when he was in his late 20's. Took her with him on tour. David Bowie another in the mix. There's a long list of rockers sleeping with underage girls, but they seem to get away with it. A) because it happened years ago and scrutiny was generally lower and B) they come outa the gate as "depraved rockers, sex and drugs and rock n roll" so I suppose the hypocrisy factor isn't there to nearly the same degree as Hollywood types, who with a few exceptions have always peddled the wholesome, Right on, squeaky clean image.

Yeah I realised as soon as I posted the above that Bill Wyman and Jimmy Page were already guilty. Never heard anything about Bowie, but also a fan of his so makes sense I guess.

I'm more talking about why someone would even do it in the first place, rather than the criminal side of it. It's the oddest thing.

Can you understand how a guy would send dick pics over the phone to women they don't even know? Saw a clip from 'Salon Confidential'? where some girls were talking about Tinder (actually, I think it was on the LLS). They said they had to leave it because it was a dick pics fest!:D Men have to know that women do not welcome these pictures, yet they send them. Why? It is a form of harassment. Anthony Weiner :D is now in jail because he sent pics of his ugly bits to young girls. In one, his baby son was on the bed beside him as he took the photo. How sick does one have to be to do that?

It's a power trip, I would guess. You're essentially showing that you have power over them. At least that's what all of this stuff seems to boil down to.

Why did I think of 'willy waving' when I read this post? :D

It's fcuking bizarre. Anyone ever sends me a dick pic they'll be getting back a picture of a Stanley knife.

what pisses me off is how the likes of SNL comediens like Tina Few can make a career out of mocking bill cosby and sarah palin (and rightly so).

As soon as it hits home, well gosh darn it we're all out of ideas.
Has anyone read jessica chastains view on it??what a lady..
I was happy before I was an actress and if I was blanked in the morning, I'd be fine with that!! class act. she's gone after brian singer as well and good for her.

I'll bet someone outside the USA will be getting a call come charade/award season.. hopefully it's ricky gervais :)

You're deliberately misinterpreting the poster's point

I don't 'deliberately misrepresent' any user, but appreciate the accusation nonetheless, always nice to see who'd endorse such a view (not that there were any surprises ;))
A small minority of men would, if there was nothing to stop them. Thankfully there are laws to stop that kind of thing.

Fair enough, but you should have said that then.

Tbf though, a small minority already do that and many a women also too of course. Sure wasn't a woman recently arrested for flashing the Mona Lisa (and all in the vacinity) another at a baseball game cause there were some young boys beside her. Tove Lo flashes the crowds at her concerts each night too and let's not forget about all those female celebs who use see thru tops and split skirts, with no underwear on to sell their latest films. Can't remember seeing Tom Hanks get his todger out on the red carpet to sell Forest Gump, but I could be wrong. Women flashing in public is not seen as an inherently sinister act the way it is when a man gets his dick out though. Sure look at Mardi Gras in the states. A festival put on so women can expose themselves, or at least that's what it's become. A topic for another thread perhaps.

Anyway, looks like Louis' career's gonna take a big hit, in the short term at least.

One thing I read was about a party attended by Corey Haim when he was very young - his parents were also in attendance. Corey was not enjoying it and went outside where he was found crying by Sarah Jessica Parker and her then boyfriend, Robert Downey Jr. According to Parker, Downey brought Corey home with him and allowed him to live with him for months. How strange was that?
Corey was only a child and it is well known that Downey had drug problems in his youth. Where were Corey's Mum and Dad during this time? Corey's Mum does not want much delving into her past behaviour re Corey's welfare.

Given the rumours about RDJ's dad being of a similar...persuasion, he probably knew a lot of the sharks circling Haim for what they were and while his heart was in the right place, with his own addiction issues he had his own demons to contend with at the same time.

RDJ seems like a decent man, and if he had been sober then, it could have been a very different future for Haim.

But yeah, Mrs. Haim not minding if her kid goes off to live with a drug user for a few months? Beggars belief.

It sounded like it was well intentioned on RDJ's part, but it was bizarre that CH's mother/parents were ok with it. Serious dereliction of duty on her/their part. No wonder she wants Corey Feldman to stop stirring the pot.

There are mothers who turn out their children for prostitution, or set them up for abuse, horrific a fact as that may be.

If that's true, then fair f*cks to RDJ. I've a tonne of respect for that man, but now it's got much better.

It takes someone strong to come back from the levels of addiction he was seemingly having and apparently turning it completely around.

    Edit:

I also do think that what we were seeing about Louis CK, wherein he admitted to what he was doing through his various performances, was a cry for help. It would explain why he so readily admitted to it.

It's also possible that it was a massive display of arrogance, that he thought he could behave as he did, and even allude to that behaviour in public, and get away with it.

Jimmy Saville did something similar, announcing in interviews that he'd do whatever he could get away with - and he did, as we know.

Never underestimate the arrogance of people who believe they're untouchable.

I think that whole media scrum by the news anchor has rung the death knell for Mr kevin invading your spacey!!!! it's chapter and verse for him I think.

when we are teenagers, we tell our friends everything, first kiss, first cigarette, first ride, first broken heart etc etc, never the parents because your a teenager. Your friends have the goods on you always..haims mother is ****in mental if she thinks his friends and closest confidants, even victims themselves, have "the wrong guy"...what a liar she is to be honest.. if she did care at all, wouldn't she want to jail the scumbag who ruined her sons life.. like I said, check her bank balance in a year...complicit by design I think.

I see Ellen Page posted on FB with allegations of assault against Ratner. Some of the details really are awful, madness that this Ratner guy and many others have seemingly been able to get away with it for so long.

I was enjoying reading the post until for some reason she started to conflate sexual assault in Hollywood with white supremacy which is when I lost interest.

"But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them. "

This is the weirdest part of the statement... just how could he ever think it wouldn't be fuucking weird to ask someone randomly if they would like to watch you masturbate in your dressing room. What age would you have to be to realise that? I don't know his work but I assume he is a writer and that statement was badly written, expressed and made no sense.

It is truly amazing that these people want to open up about their assault, but it needs to be done to police, not social media.

The best way to get other victims to come forward as we have seen is to do it via social media.

Valid point - but there should be a legal route too.

It's a far from perfect platform, but I don't think anyone can dispute that it's been the vehicle that made it possible for victims to oust their abusers having found their voices aren't alone or even unusual in some cases.

The power of solidarity at work.

It's far from perfect, but people suffering alone and not reporting for fear of repercussion or because of trauma have found strength in numbers.

couldn't agree more, knee jerk reaction to these so called "allegations" are completely unwarranted

well what these people value most is their brand and reputation. now consider an injunction which keeps their name out of the public domain, whilst they work quickly to discredit or pay off an already damaged person!! then the land settles, the lawyers move in and it all disappears. Hey presto, no jail time, no accountability, power wins, money talks... rinse and repeat....

so maybe using social media actually attacks the brand, damages the name and though they'll never see a jail cell because as we've seen, jail is for the poor!! they'll never really work again.....I'll take that to be honest.....

Bottom line folks,acting/comedy writing/Artistic director/producer is a job and Louie CK was at one time somebodys boss. By his own admission, he asked could he **** in front of or around women who didn't want him to and then did it anyway... so michael O leary asks the cabin crew de jour can he **** in a bizzie Lizzie or some other unfortunate fauna, and that's ok?? take the ARTIST angle out of it and that's what it boils down to..I'll **** here and if you value your job, you'll watch me!!! yeah put your sister in that setting folks and come back and tell me aaaawww poor guy!

It's impossible to stamp this behaviour out.

People want to be with important and powerful people. If Emma Watson advertises for a mate or for a friend she will get lots of replies. It's not Emma's problem that she's lithe and popular.
