    Got home from picking up my copy in Gamestop (Don't judge me), PS4 had an update. 300mb. Few minutes. CoD has an update that can't run in the background. That was 12.45. I'm still waiting...

    I remember now why I went digital last year. I swore I wouldn't buy digital since I screwed myself with the Ghosts season pass. Wanted physical in case it wasn't living up. Regret that now.

    As someone posted earlier, unless you could play the game with an offline PS4 from the get go, it's madness having a 10Gb patch before you can even play SP.

    16 minutes left...

    The multiplayer set up is very different from the older games in terms of the lobby. Coming from MW Remastered its quite overwhelming.

    Guns have lots of recoil compared to the other games, obviously more realistic but frustrating as well.

    Played a couple of local games before heading to work cos could not connect to online. Happy with that though cos it gave me a chance to test out guns before deciding which gun to unlock. The BAR gun is probably my favourite so far so will probably unlock that

    They are live now as far as I can see. It has a Metascore of 86 after 31 reviews which is fairly promising. User reviews are lower but don't know how any of them can be genuine since they only have the game a couple of hours.

    The reviews are a load of crap anyway. The only time I've seen "good reviews" of Call of Duty imo is Black Ops Declassified.

    I got on about 12.10 last night. First game there was a fella ranked 26 ten mins after game became available

    Was it released earlier in the U.S?

    Very tempted by this, I have to say.

    Anyone sink enough time into multiplayer yet to give a quick initial verdict?

    Reservations, outside of gameplay of course, would be what I'm hearing about micro transactions etc. I refuse to pay extra after shelling out for the game. If that's a large part of it, then its a black mark in my book.
