eircom.net email in Apple Mail

    I am having trouble setting up my eircom.net email in Apple Mail. During the setup I keep getting message 'Unable to verify account name or password' even though I am entering them correctly. Any help would be much appreciated

    You need the full email address as the account name as far as I know.

    I am having issues similar to yours above. Upgraded the OS on my (vintage) Mac and now cannot get my eircom.net email to work. Did you find a solution?
