Setting up my own webpage - Wix - is it free?

Want to set up a basic web page for my new (very small) business and am not particularly skilled at such things.
I found Wix.com and it looks great, says it's free etc.
Can I just go ahead and type in on the template or is there a catch?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

I thought that it was but the pricing page makes it look like it's not.

I would discourage Wix for a business - the html code that it generates is a mess and probably very difficult for Google to decipher.
My (biased) suggestion is to use WordPress either on your own hosting (60/year + 10/year for a domain; you have full control) or create a site on wordpress.com (free but can add domain; could be limiting).

if I have a business and I had to buy a van for it, I'd buy a decent van and not a piece of crap. If I needed that van fixed and I hadn't a clue about being a mechanic, I'd send it to a garage, and not try to fix it myself. i don't understand why people don't treat their company websites the same
