    morning y'all.

re the votes last night: i dont think we can get any info from it. we could q those who didnt vote agnus, but some probably had a vote registered early and couldnt change, or had their own reasons for voting, with more merit than voting agnus in their opinion.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,669 ✭✭✭Doris WW

    sup abi. whats going on?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,056 ✭✭✭Abigail WW

    Hey Doris.

I agree there’s definitely more good than bad in the other votes. But if you were on the wolf team, what would your plan be? Would you lump your entire team onto angus?

Angus vote will be like looking for a needle in a haystack but we have to look as I’d say the alpha is there. But as the game progresses, that smaller block should be remembered.

Wendy's posts in the run up to the lynch last night.
    Wendy WW wrote: »
Actually at the time I was not taking the IAMBUFFY posts by others (2 before me iirc) seriously as potential tasks hence I didn't even try to hide that in my post.

The Katie thing I guess I am basing more on what others have said in terms of fitting a task hence she is top of my list. Otherwise ill be honest I don't feel there are too many concrete leads on what people have put in posts that would make people think are baddies. People have made cases for the likes of Mary, Orla & Holly which is why I have discussed their potential before.
So she's happy to jump on me because others have pointed out that I may have been Adam doing his task. No other reasoning.

    Wendy WW wrote: »
I asked this earlier but how in depth is someones knowledge of the universe we are inhabiting supposed to be?

Maybe it's just me but in the middle of someones post, the first few letters of the words "im not implying that its a task. It could very easily" perhaps co-incidentally spelling out I N I T I A T I V E and the fact that aparently that is the name of a group that appears in the 4th season of the show is not enough for me to lynch someone.

Maybe I shouldn't say this as if people think it is then they won't some after a goodie like me but it just seems like the kinda thing that either is too Buffy centric when not everyone would no all such details or something you could find in others posts if you had literally all the time in the world to check through posts. Speaking of which ill be less active now as I dont have time atm but will at the very least Lynch vote via mobile
I'm better at reading than maths but this highlighted bit is nonsense. The chances of someone, playing a Buffy the Vampire game, accidentally spelling out the name of a known group from the Buffy universe surely are astronomical. And saying something like this as a reason to keep a vote on me is bizarre.

    Wendy WW wrote: »
    Angus did, Steve "found it"

still think if i had the time to look through every sentence in everyones posts id find the first letters spelled out random things like - this is my task - or you know a better example. The grammar issue is another thing for me that makes me think its not the route to go and even if it brings eyes back on people like me i'll happily say that. Yes technically it could be said it wasn't a grammar mistake and instead just a space left out but i doubt having put something like that in the rules the poster would take such a chance if it was really their task by doing so unless of course they messed up acidentally whilst posting this super secret and thought out hidden message.
    Wendy WW wrote: »
I don't know if some people think it is so clearly the task because it is or because it means people are not voting to lynch them and sure they have nothing better to go on. I would be inclined to not think it is the task and it is a coincidence in a random mix of two sentences in a post but as said it is better than a lot of reasons put forward to Lynch people so even if I don't vote that way at least those who do are basing it on something substantial.

What an incredible move it would be for a wolf to spot such a thing and point it out to all the villagers though.

Ok yes I admit Werewolf is a game that sucks you into all the theorizing and such... really gotta stop posting here for now (busy busy atm)

Nothing else from her after this post (however she did say she was busy). But that last post was from an hour before the lynch and she hasn't even checked back in to see who died. Odd? Wendy can we please hear more from you today?

Morning all, had to see TWD then bed and only got back on now to read up. So we still have some missing, poor show!
Bit of a strange night with the Gabriel posts but worse than that was a modulator posting Cher Llyod of all people. Hated that chick on the show years ago and can't bring myself to click that vid.

i would agree on the alpha being in there. in fact i would hazard all vamps are there with the exception of possibly 1. have been known to be massively wrong in past lives though.

if i was wolf team, my plan exactly as i said above. all but 1 on agnus (provided that player had previously stated who they were voting for which was semi plausible before the initiative thing)

initiative - what a hard word to spell. can anyone do it without spell check?

I am positive that there's a vampire in the top 5 posters (not including me obvs). Steve I'm giving a bye due to his epic capture of Adam, Orla is noisy villager for me, which leaves Holly, Eva and Fiona. After the shenanigans yesterday with the IAMBUFFY ****e I think I'd be looking mostly at Holly but I definitely am suspicious of Eva and Fiona too. I'll have to have a look into their posts at lunchtime as I've a very important uh, school meeting from 9-12.

top 5 is so arbitrary. why not posters with 35+, or top 7, or whatever?

I think someone from the wolf team defo caused noise yesterday, maybe to distract us from a task. I am quiet for a bit this morning so I will compile either Eva or Fiona's post and see what we can see. Something may show obvious when all grouped together.

If the mods chose Adams task in keeping with his role, would it not be probable that the alphas task was along the same lines, except it would relate to The First? I’m know very little about Buffy so i don’t know what keywords to look for.

Today another on thread task will be set. Would the mods change it up a bit?

Was reading through this on my phone (non Anon account) until now but first things first, hats off to Steve! Great bit of play there mate!

I honestly thought that was going OTT with your sleuthing (and stated that a few times before voting another way early on) and that Angus wasn't going to be Adam. Still could have been a wolf in my mind but didn't buy that it was the task you had spotted but hands up I was wrong and thats how this game should be played!

I'm not sure why that does not clear Steve as not being a baddie though, would outing Angus as Adam not be a really really stupid move for someone on that team to do? I mean I could get outing a low level baddie to hide a really high level one but can't imagine outing someone like Adam to do so, especially in a case where I really don't think anyone else was going to pick up on it.

Morning all. I shall be busy working in Sunnydale today and won't get much of a chance to sleuth (ha! my phone autocorrects sleuth to sKeith). It's a long day with limited access so probably be around 7 before I can be in any way useful.

Based on my reading so far Wendy, Fiona and Orla seem a bit off but cant say much more than that. I need a bit of time to analyse.

Thing is Wendy, if Steve looks good now, he would be a prime target for conversion, if there is conversion this morning. So if there is a conversion, no one is cleared.

It would make sense for a wolf to out the serial killer. It would get the focus of the day on the serial killer and then everyone can vote in a big group on the one person. So Steve may be a wolf. It's unlikely they are the convert though. If the convert I reckon throwing Adam under the bus would've been a later game move.

Like I said, needle in haystack with so many players.

Would have been nice to have faith take out Adam yesterday leaving us to concentrate on the alpha. I’m feeling deflated already. Need to nail tonight’s lynch.
