2017 Season Ticket

As a student the season ticket is of absolutely no benefit financially, probably costs me about €30 extra over the course of the year.

Worth it though. Good not to have to be stressed about getting tickets and the decent seats in croke park are also a bonus.. Always good to have some extra brownie points with the GAA as well if I'm ever looking for tickets for other people or if Cork aren't involved.

In comparison to other sports, I would still say its a good deal. But comparing it to last years Season Ticket alone, its quite an increase.

I don’t see what the justification is for raising it to €120. I’ll have to look into that before I renew this year. Part of the appeal for me is handiness but also the value for money.

€120 to most county supporters is just not worth it when they know well their county isn't going to get anywhere close to AI final.
Unless your from Dublin Kerry or Mayo then the uptake on buying a season ticket is going to be sparse.

I was thinking of springing for one for this year but reading Mayo Micks spreadsheets there I don't see the point because there's no way in hell Meath will be knocking around come the not so super 8

Now, I did leave out that the season ticket covers league semis and final. You can also use it to go to any league game in any division. I've given mine once to a Sligo friend while we were playing Dublin in Croke park (printed tickets).

Cost for my 3 has gone up €40 with this increase:mad:

My lad is now 17 so I'm in for a big increase initially AND moreso later in the year
I have another younger son who is starting to go . I'm going to enquire if I can change it over to him

Go to every game anyway so still saving a few bob.
