Was wondering today if FC were trying to make Cathal a regular character in the soap. We seem to be seeing his lighter side recently, which led me to believe that he might be sticking around so they are trying to develop the character.

Latest tweet says they will post it tomorrow and that it is a lot bigger than they thought. Sounds like this is going to be a bit of fun but the sharp edge of it is that we are all paying for their fun in Montrose. I was astoinished to learn from the producers previous tweets that they employees who put studio sets together (Stagers) are paid more than 100k and vast majority are from the same family.

oh for goodness sake's dont say its so! - how are they gonna explain as to why he has been off screen for so long or where he has gone to? - or maybe they are gonna do as usual and not explain or mention him in the soap...

I think the thread he is referring to is his twitter thread itself, in that he's posted it in a thread format with further detail contained as replies to the first tweet.

Nothing overly surprising revealed so far in my opinion, nothing we wouldn't have guessed here. Hopefully something more juicy to come!

But the way it was put it, "Fair city thread. I know it well." it seems like they're replying to someone's question, dunno, I find Twitter so confusing. :mad: :rolleyes: ....Yeah, I'm disapointed that no juicy gossip has been revealed.

I remember during the week there was a fella in the bar that broke a glass and Robbie roared at him " cop yourself on" no one would say that to a customer, it was an accident.

The place is ridiculous. Between Carol and Robbie being rude or violent (she gave one of the customers a serious shove the other night while she was stumbling around) and the regular awkward drunken toasts to Lorcan, there's no way people would still go there!
