If that is as good as it looks you wouldn't get the smell of it for 17k.
It's a bit rich at 30k though, I'll give you that.

I'd like to see examples of comparable or even remotely comparable 325i e30's in Ireland selling for next nor near 17k never mind 30k.

Sorry I'm a bit busy right now I haven't time to go rooting but they are making big money in EU, UK and USA.

    Probably right.
If that car appeared on the Old Colonel's website for 25k sterling you wouldn't be too surprised.

Edit: E30 325i convertible on his site is a lot cheaper.

If it was an m3 fair enough but it's just the 325i. Lovely car, one of my dream cars but 30k is 10-12k overpriced from similar sold. I suppose in a way it weeds out those low ballers offering peanuts for classics.

Ah no I didn't really mean it in "jump; yes sir how high sir" kinda way. Apologies for coming across like that.

But I was just trying to make the point that in Ireland 17k for a 325i e30 would be exceptional. To the point of which I've never seen or heard the likes. The men at that end of the market don't use done deal.

The UK EU and USA is home to many of collector types to which money means nothing and they'll stick the car in a heated shed along with a few others and the only light of day they'll see is a concours event. It's not really prevalent here and as such not really relevant.

    Just my two cents worth.

If he can get it or close to it fair fooks to him but for me I'd definitely view it as deserving a place in this thread.

Ooops it's me that should apologise.

I was in a bit of a hurry and maybe Ophelia fried my brain but I misread the ad and thought it was an M3.

So sorry and egg on face all round.

Owner must've been some Oaf  only 86k miles and I can see two dents and a Torn seat from just the pictures.

€1150 would be closer to the mark. 18 years in the garage but he took it out just in time for the storm. Hardly a straight panel on it.

    Ghostbusters is brilliant!
What's not brilliant is that the car in that ad isn't the one from the movie... the actually male version of the movie.
But I have to say it's a seriously cool looking car and the pictures are really nice.

That car to me though would be like turning a Lancia Gamma into back to the future Delorean copy.

Some whiny entitled millennial would visualize that through their thick framed fake Ray Bans outside the Fr Ted house with German plates, comical stretched tyres and call it great value, argue holes through pots about it's appreciating state and still not buy it... Despite their beliefs

Top weather to take pics of it, they forgot to take pics with the roof down, day for it!

At nearly £25k there is no danger in me touching it anyway.

Sensors are a bit duff at this stage I'd imagine. No doubt its being sold by a tight Kerry farmer who in his own mind thinks it worth every cent.

Sure it's only got 188k country miles on it, it's barely run in.

    Suzuki Jimny asking for €10,995.

    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/suzuki-jimny-high-spec-very-low-mileage-4wd-jeep/16195513

Only noticed it last week when I was passing the garage. €11k for a Jimny!! I know its clean and well spec'd for one but jaysus.

I never knew they were still selling them in 2011 either.

    They’ve just dropped the price!

    Not really ...
    Scrappage Price E8,995 including E2,000 Scrappage/minimum trade-in allowance. Normal Retail Price E10,995.
Thats a staggering price for a Jimny. Must be fairly crap on the emmissions too as it's 1.3 is 570 a year to tax.

That's a very 90s looking interior for a high spec model from 2011.

That's because it is from the 90's

I'm aware of that, it didn't have to stay in the 90s though...
