Why not stop in the middle of the road? Or not?

The Bus took a long time to stop I thought, did the Golf driver pull the handbrake or what?

It's a natural instinct to bring his bus(which is full of people)to a safe stop as quick as possible bearing in mind the safety of those on board. It was a well controlled 'sudden' stop... Only an amateur would jump on the brakes in that situation.

That kind of sh1t is happening all the time on m50. People using the exit / entry slip roads inappropriately to get a few cars ahead. Easily could cause an accident.

Some traffic cops / cameras and enforcement would be useful.

    Woman tries to push in

(this is your third video about "bad merging"), and in all fairness you could have sped up or slowed down a bit.

Why should I? Why can’t they speed up or slow down?

    I said you could have.

The way that stopped I'm wondering was it one of the automatic brake system like the Volvo trucks have

    Brutal driving from you there.

You're supposed to drive with due consideration for others, which you absolutely didn't do.

And what was the story with leaning on the horn?

    Selfish and ignorant driving.

And I saw that, but why should anyone slow down to accommodate a bad merger.

Because that would be good defensive driving.

Also a nice bit of bunching on lane three with traffic almost coming to a stop!

And I saw that, but why should anyone slow down to accommodate a bad merger. Speeding up or slowing down is the responsibility of the merger.
She did appear to be going faster than you, but she should have matched your speed 10 metres in front or behind you. That merge looks like a 50/50 type so you both should have been taking care to avoid trying to use the same bit of tarmac.

I don't tend to get involved in these things, but there was plenty of time for the poster to slow down and let the car merge. After all, it's not as if she was heading across on the hatch markings. And, I'm sure she would have been spotted on the on ramp just prior to this video. Merge lanes are there for just that - to merge. It would have been courteous to slow down and let the car move out. There was plenty of time for that, in my opinion. Not to blast her out of it!

Or pulled out to the empty lane to his right to let the car merge into the motorway

it's up to the person merging to position themselves correctly.

Waaaaow I love it.. It would save so many lives, even just the warning for distracted drivers.

you mean the person in every other car but his, because he seems to go around the M50 looking for a chance to lean on the horn?

    Woman tries to push in

More like woman tries to merge but you won't let her. Seriously a good considerate driver will slow down or move to the outer lane and let the driver merge.

From your youtube account you seem to be out to get merging drivers. You will end up causing an accident the way you are going.

No need to blast other drivers out of it either.

There was only one idiot in the last video. The one before I was on the side of the poster given the hatchings, but still massive overkill on the horn. This doesn't happen to me every day because I don't go looking for it...if someone is merging like in the last video i'll either back off a little or give it some gas to move past them, less stress for us both, but no video worth posting I suppose...

It's much easier if the camera either slowed down/speed up or move to the outer lane. Otherwise the merging car would nearly have to come to a standstill before merging.

It's a common and courteous thing do and there is no reason why the op could not do it

You seem to the one at fault there. A bit of common courtesy goes a long way.

Courtesy should come from the merging car driver, they don't have right of way, person in lane has right of way, always wise not to be a dick and never try force your way onto the carriageway that you have no right to force your way on to.

Ahh come on that driver did not try to force their way onto the carriageway. Right of way or not a liitle commonsense here would go a long way.

Being honest, and speaking from experience, judging by the sort of merging vids posted by the op, they strike me as the sort who would hammer down the inside lane and actually speed up if they saw someone speeding up and trying to merge ahead of them.

In short, with people like that you can't win.

It didn't look like they were going to stop anyway.

Courtesy goes a long way, merging car should not barge through imo
