Didn't you know you're not allowed to question anything about these people's products or businesses?

It's not the first time that one has come across as a very unprofessional business woman. You'd think she would learn

Anyone who flogs tea that makes you sh|t yourself for a living is a grade A dumbo in my opinion

I see MUF is in Milan as brand ambassador with Dibi Milano. She made out like she was the only ambassador and yet 2 other bloggers are there as brand ambassadors also. Dibi Milano took them to dinner last night but MUF went for her own dinner by herself with Paul. Very poor to not join the company who paid for you to go to Milan in my opinion.

WTF? What did you ask her? For her first born???

No she flogged the tea to my friends and I quizzed her on what ingredients were in the tea as I read it makes people go to the loo a lot!!

And I asked her why it isnt suitable for pregnant ladies she then started to sell me the tea instead of answer my questions and got defensive when I wouldnt try the sample.

She then got thick with me when I asked more questions after reading her leaflet which clearly states weight-loss as one of the benefits and when I asked how a tea could possibly help people loose weight she said she never claims the tea makes people loose weight that it is used as an aid when eating healthy and exercising. I was then asked to leave the stand when she refused to actually answer the questions when I wasnt buying!!

    It's does.

The Facebook group name is Slender September. Although it's meant to be getting deleted today as per princess Ruth's rant.
She's rejoined the group to reply to the comments, but so far has only commented once to say that she deleted someone off snapchat for being negative.

Sure aren't candles made from wax?

I do get the association with the wax. My beauticians always have a fab smell and if they brought or out in a candle I would buy. Kinda like an oriental spa smell.

For waxperts, I hate hate the packaging. So cheap looking. I remember a good few months ago they were talking about rebranding but havent seen it. Wouldn't have that candle in my house with a label that looks homemade
Not fan of that at all. Agreed it looks cheap, the large Jo Malone dupe candles from Aldi look far more expensive looking. €30 is a mad price for it also. The large Yankee candle jar is priced the same - however I think there is a lot more product in the yankee candle and the brand is far better known than waxperts IMO.

I don't know anyone who would want a candle with "waxperts" label stuck on? It's like Venus or Gillette bringing out a candle. It's weird. I get the whole wax thing but I still think it's weird. It's like something you'd get as an aside as an offer or something for Christmas, not a product in and off itself. If im spending €30 on a cangle it sure as hell isnt going to have that branding on it. The mind boggles sometimes.

Definitely way over priced and agree they look very cheap. The label looks very amateur. Normally Ellen would have a good eye for detail so I was surprised when I saw them. Even €15 would be pricey for it.

Yes it would be fine in a salon when you are getting your waxing done to have the candle lit as part of the waxing service (cos let's face it, it's not the most pleasant experience so every little helps). But I wouldn't have that on display on my mantle piece which is what I do with my candles.
Maybe it's more of a pampering, relaxing in the bath type candle. Which to be honest, only happens for me a couple of times a year, if even!

That's bad form alright. Id imagine she would have been expected to attend the brand dinner like the rest of them. Why did she feel the need to put up how much the meal cost that herself and Paul had on Snapchat?! I've never seen anyone do that before.

I know. That's weird and in poor taste to be talking about how much a meal cost. Very narcissistic behaviour as always though I suppose. Just looks a little snubbing like to not attend the dinner of the company you are working with especially when there are only a few of them involved anyway and therefore her absence would be noticed. Doesn't show great interest in the company or their products to be taking that approach.

I’m baffled at the price point of this candle! It’s not as if it has some mad unique scent, it’s just plain old Lavender. I mean 30 is quite steep tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 383 ✭✭Lindy97

As others have said, you can get amazing candles, dupes for Joe Malone, in Aldi for 4.99 and even the Yankee candles which are much bigger for the same price. I wouldn't pay more than 9.99 for the waxperts one, I don't care how nice it smells

Can someone please tell them all that Declarè is pronounced Deh-clar-ay. It's a Swiss brand for God's sake, it's so unprofessional to repeatedly pronounce a brand name incorrectly and then say it's been your favourite for, like, ever

So embarrassing. It was like the time MUF pronounced Givenchy phonetically and therefore, incorrectly. Someone said it to her and her response was something along the lines of she pronounced it that way as it seems funny to pronounce it as it should be with an Irish accent (something like that, not a direct quote). What a ridiculous come back for being called out on the incorrect pronunciation of a product name.

How long was RMC's personal trainer course, like 5 or 6 weeks?
And now she charges €45 a session. No wonder there's more PTs than you can shake a stick at.

She's even got the lingo down too, places are filling fast so hurry. Only 3 spaces left at this price!
    LOL

She is also saying how fab it is not to be a blogger anymore and how amazing life is now. She seems to constantly make snap decisions and broadcast them...i.e. being a vegetarian, not buying clothes in high street shops etc.

Anyone who goes to her for Personal Training needs their head checked.
Can't see her sticking at it anyway if her flaky history is anything to go by.

Ha, I thought I was the only one that this really bugged me. They are weights!

Sorry but if I wanted a PT, and to pay that amount of money, I'll be getting an experienced one. A quick course does not make you qualified imo. I know you have to learn but it's too soon I think to take clients

It's like something she'd previously be ripping the sh|t out of.
    Complete hypocrite.

I see Sue has uploaded a video for her Hot Fire palette on Youtube. More of a promo video. Guess she won't be doing any tutorials herself!

On the topic of Rosemary I'd forgotten about her so wandered over to her blog there for a nosey. Her latest blog post "how do you know what to say when there's nothing to say", is the biggest paragraph of nothingness I've ever had the displeasure of reading.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 444 ✭✭scarbouro

I thought Terrie Mcevoy was the brand ambassador for So Sue? She's was on snapchat earlier raving about another bloggers eye shadow pallette from Australia. Colours similar to Sues pallette. Saying they're the most pigmented colours ever ect. Hardly a good look to be off praising someone elses product and posting a link to buy it when it would be considered to be in competition with the one she's promoting herself. Just found it strange especially when Sue is trying to sell her products internationally.

God Anna. I'm with you on that. It's like a different take on the Ronan Keating song "you say it best when you say nothing at all!"
    Terrible writing!

I think she thought she was making a point but I was reading it going, what?
No doubt she'll get praise for it though. A lot of people lap up her teenaged appropriate writing skills.

I had to unfollow Terrie after a while because she wrecked my head but my opinion of her is that she has no brand loyalty and will flog anything. She has a good job so blogging seems to be a cash cow hobby on the side, and she treats it as such. She'll endorse anything and everything if the price is right. A quick look at her Instagram there tells me she hasn't changed much.

This is literally my pet peeve! Terrie actually pronounced it like Deh-Clear!
