Which is the best Clare beach to get some sea shells for a garden pond project I'm working on? ....

What kind of shells are you looking for? If it's bigger types like escalopes a lot of fish mongers would be delighted to give them to you, smaller ones you'll be lucky enough to get them on a beach, maybe somewhere like Carrigaholt which isn't as busy as the main beaches
