Is anyone elses timetable saying we have two Chemistry lectures in the one day? First at 11 and the second at 5? Do we have to attend both or just the one?

That would be correct. You need to attend both. It was the exact same last year!

You don't have to attend any of the lectures unless they take attendance.

It will make passing the exams difficult though.
If the timetables are an issue, ask your class rep to email the lecturer and the school office and try and see if you can reschedule it.
