Don't think so. Some get through. My Xiaomi battery was marked $5.. had to pay the duty..

Careful when doing the first time setup, creating a new account / password and registering the new drone.

This genius missed a character in the email address (in my defense they have no cross checking of email entry nor send you a mail to confirm your email) so I've the drone registered to an email address I don't own nor can I change. Worse is I purchased DJI Care Refresh on this account i've no control over.

Further pain in the ass to try get this sorted, DJI support not back until Monday...never ****ing ends.

Out of interest, what kind of information is sent to your email when you sign up and when you buy DJI Care Refresh? Hopefully the email typo I entered is a dormant account and nobody is going to be snooping my business, changing my DJI password etc.

Starting to get a bit fed up.

UPS label created on 1st Sept but still not picked up my drone. This is supposed to be priority shipping.

For contrast, I ordered something else off an ebay seller in China the day after this drone. It only had standard shipping but it came 3 days ago.

Yeah, the problem is, the 1st was 5 working days ago. The drone has to be sent from China to a European ups warehouse. Once received it will take 1 or 2 days to get to you. I'm guessing you'll get it mid week. If you ordered standard shipping it would probably be an additional 5 working days, based on personal experience.

Relax, it's just the same as the rest of our experiences (who used tomtop)

All good things come to those who wait.

I'm patiently awaiting my £84 cash back on it too.

Pain in the hole I know, but I always comforted myself by looking at the price of the mavic flymore pack on Amazon (£1300) compared to the €800 odd I got it from tomtop for.

Got my drone yesterday and unboxed it today. They had the controller wrapped pretty tightly I must say. Everything charged now and will probably fly it later if it's not too windy or raining.

Ordered the SE drone from Tomtop, when this thread started and got it in a few days, but I then ordered a spare battery on 27th July and still no sign of it.

Decided to fly it today- got some pretty bad jello-ing at 4K 30FPS. Footage looks nice but would be unusable because of it. I was wondering if this is normal? Winds were 30-40 kmph according to google in Cork.

Yeah, especially if you're flying at speed. Flies far better in less than 20kmph winds

(im)patiently awaiting my DJI Phantom 3 SE to arrive. I have already read the all the docs and manuals (twice). Same as Tzardine UPS tracking showing same dates and status. Fingered crossed it arrives this week.

What I'd like to know from those of you who have one already is - what is the live view video like over WiFi. Does it only work in good line of sight and does it struggle with range?

The wifi is just from the phone to the remote- it uses its own protocol then from the remote to the drone - for both video and control. You get video pretty much to the extent you get control of the drone.

Are you sure that's the case with the phantom 3. From the ski website it appears to be all Wi-Fi?

I know nothing about it, That's just the impression I got from the site

Yup- It uses the same radio frequency ranges as wifi- but the signal goes to and from the antanae on the remote to the drone.
    Not from phone to drone.

Has the discount code for the mavic pro combo stopped working?

My younger brother is considering getting one , but it won't take the code for me when I enter it.

I think that there are a few codes floating around.
Try TTMAVICC for the Pro combo. or TTMAVIC283

Or TTMAVIC200 for just the Pro.

    Thanks man.

I am so glad to here this. I saw a review online (this one https://youtu.be/Z7WiRZwhSaY ) which suggested the 3 SE had poor live view.

I think its a fake review - you can see he doesn't show any of his own footage - just stills from other people - and he some facts things wrong - doubt he actually has one at all.
Maybe others here who have got one can confirm?

    Heres some real footage -
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouDUbe6W0hg&t=103s

Id still go for the Mavic (for the size and features) or a Phantom 4 (for the image quality) though... Possibly a Spark(again for the size/price): I flew one last week and was very impressed with it.

Neither of them are working now either mate.

I Think that the prices have gone up. I managed to snag the mavic for 773 last week however it is now gone upto over 830

They may have even gone up higher, I think the exchange rate is helping a little with the price also.

If the codes are not working, i would definitely hold off as they seem to have released a new code every fortnight or sooner. I think the latest code was TTMAVIC283 and may be updated soon.

    Edited

    These may work:

    TTMAVICP300 for Mavic PRO

    TTMAVICP260 for Mavic PRO Combo

I bought the DJI P3 SE from Tomtop on the 30th August.

UPS is showing the same status since the 1st September.

"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

12 days since I purchased and the tracking status hasn't changed at all.

Anyone else experience such a long period with no change in the tracking status?

Mine has been in the Netherlands for 1 week, a mate of mine has order a week before me and his is also still in the Netherlands.

I guess it takes time :(

I ordered my spark the same day as you but selected priority shipping, missed my delivery on Friday but should hopefully have it today.

Did you go with standard shipping?

Yeah I didn't see any options for shipping when I purchased. I'm 90% sure there wasn't one and it gave me the priority shipping. Perhaps I missed something. Drat.

Any movement? Did you get a letter in the post?

Yes got a letter sent to the delivery address as there was no other contact information (like my email).

When i sent them the purchase receipt I added to the email asking them to redirect the packet to my home address instead of my workplace since there's a mail intake at the workplace and they aren't going to fork over money for customs. They ignored that and sent it to my workplace anyway.
