Does anyone think they will add season 2 of Top of the lake?

Probably but not for a while. its all still on the iplayer if you can access it, though it isn't very good compared to season 1(still highly watchable though).

Watched Little Evil tonight. It was grand not good but not bad. A few humorous parts but not that funny

Good opening episode of ‘El Chapo’. Similar in style to Narcos as you’d expect.

Netflix on a Noah Baumbach buzz ahead of his new (Netflix) film The Meyerowitz Stories. Just added his (solid) debut Kicking and Screaming, but more importantly the superb Mistress America (in which Greta Gerwig again proves her chops as a force of nature).

While We're Young (meh), Squid and the Whale (great) and Greenberg (pretty good) also there, but Mistress America is the pick of the bunch for now (in the absence of Frances Ha)

I really enjoyed While We're Young. Maybe the aging part of me can relate to the Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts couple and some of their struggles in relation to getting old. I found it an embarrassingly honest and funny portrayal of someone sliding towards a midlife crisis.

I actually didn't think El Chapo was that good. It's very Narcos-lite and feels closer to a Latin American soap opera than the grittiness of Narcos in many places.

Plus the main guy, El Chapo, was no match for Pablo Escobar.

It does feel less gritty and slightly more stylised in parts, even if it is still very violent if that makes sense!

Half way through the first season now and still enjoying it. It’s getting better I think.

Australian TV series "Glitch" only 6 episodes. It's about a group of people who come back to life and no one knows why.

Thought it was pretty good and the ending was a "wtf" moment. Was renewed for a second season so hopefully it ll be available soon.

    Really enjoying Atypical
Main character and Dad are very likeable
Mother and daughter not so much. Think they could have cast both a bit better.

Finally got around to watching The Squid and the Whale. Jeff Daniels is amazing as the asshole father and husband. Fantastic film.

Making my way through the Expanse season 2 (finally!) enjoying it so far.
Now, I know, I shouldn't push it when expecting too much of a good thing but I think this is the bare minimum we should be expecting: where is iZombie? :(

Fans of tried crime docs (Making A Murderer,
The Jinx, The Keepers etc) should give The Confession Tapes a look. Only watched one last night but very good!

I loved it for a couple of series, after that it's repetitive.

I watched one and thought the opposite, it seemed very amateur to me.

Stop watching after Season 4. Maybe Season 5. Don't watch any further. Up until then you'll have some of the best TV out there. Especially Season Four.
