New swimmer looking for fitness tracker

    Hi all. I've just taken up swimming as due to a knee problem I'm unable to do any weight bearing exercise. I've taken lessons and have started swimming lengths. I'm looking for a fitness tracker suitable for swimming. Previously I used a polar loop and a heart rate monitor but I want something that will count my laps etc. The pool is only 16 metres so the Garmin watch isn't suitable. Can anyone advise? Thanks in advance.

    There are trackers that fit on your index finger and you use your thumb to click to indicate a length is done. I considered those but would probably forget to click.

    I have the Garmin swim and it's a good watch. Would suggest setting it to 17m and then subtracting 1m as appropriate from the sets you do. That's not a bad option considering it's not really easy to compare 100m times etc in that pool to others so you really are tracking changes in a constant environment.

    I think that's probably a very good option. I've not seen anything else that seems to compare.
