How do i find out if and Email address is alive

I have an address set up on my Outlook on my lappy and the emails are not arriving all the settings are correct they just suddenly stopped last week. How Do I fing out if that email address is still alive

Most ISP allow you to check your email via the internet.

Assuming you know your username and password log in to your email account via the webmail service. that will tell you whether your email account is active.

It is unlikely that they would close your email account if you check it regurlarly.
