Upgraded CPU no display

So I went from a i3 to i7 and not getting a display on the monitor, put i3 back in and same issue. I have an ASRock H61M/U3S3, Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 450W and 8gbs of ram.

I've removed the ram, disconnected the SSD and HD and still no signal

I'd say you would probably need one stick of ram installed for it to show an output.

Check all the psu cables just in case one is slightly loose.

If all are fine check the cpu socket for any bent pins.

Any sign of life,does it start but just no display?

Deffo looks like there is either a bent or missing pin near the bottom left of that pic.I cant tell which it is though.
If its a bent pin you can bend it back carefully.If its a missing pin its time for a new mobo I'd say as probably cost you a fair bit to get the socket replaced.

Ye looks like I will be replacing the motherboard. Can anyone recommend a good motherboard for my i7 3770.

Would either of these be ok, hard to get an 1155 type motherboard.

It needs to be socket 1155, the 2nd one you've linked will work but the 1st one will not.

Can get one on Ebay or Adverts either, but the VG4 will be fine.

Can you confirm it is a missing or bent pin as it is hard to tell from a picture?
