@ Strazda, thanks for the info on Brookside cult. I wasn't 100% sure and you make a good point about it being religious. Nowadays of course that wouldn't really fly because of how many people have gone their own way on that topic but whatever Phoenix Way are up to, it aint good!

If I remember correctly, Simon was very young and was recruiting other young people into the cult. Was Rachel Jordache one of his recruits?

This plot is certainly interesting : a supposed self help group being a front for something more sinister.

You'd wonder why. Proportion of LGBT characters on the soap is not in balance with the numbers in a normal society.

5 lesbians is about 15% of the shows characters being lesbian. It's very inaccurate.

This is by no means an anti LGBT post, i embrace diversity, but just numbers, especially lesbians, are nonsensical.

I'm calling it here and now. Kerri Ann will make a new best friend out of all this, linking arms walking in the park etc there will be some awkward moments with Pete, Bob et al and KT will be the new characters love interest.

Well it's probably getting him down as he lies awake in bed at night with only the pillow beside him for company.
