Just discovering some of A Tribe Called Quest's discography and loving it, real old school rap.

All good man - Tribe will need all the fans they can get on their side, I think!!!

They seem to be playing the same setlist every gig and I'm afraid Motivators doesn't make the cut...

    Check this: Setlist

Excursions, Buggin' Out and Electric Relaxation are all unbelievable tunes imo

Just got a spot on the waiting list for Pink Moon. Going to be my first year doing it fancy. Folks here think it's worth it?

I def do. I have stayed there 2 years in a row and i thought it's well worth it. Not crowded, great showers and toilets, more secure, nice bar/restaurant in it too to chill out if you want.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else now to be honest if i was going.

Absolutely!! stayed there last year, the ground was firm all weekend, no queue's for toilets etc, i couldn't believe how bad the ground in the JH campsite was when i walked through it to meet a friend

Just got a spot in pink moon myself.....5 mins after spending 35 yo yos on my lidl tent!
It's def worth it.... hot showers, few steps away from main arena, the reassurance of knowing your tent will still be standing when you return to it...worth it

Individual stages are releasing their own stage times randomly but main one won't be till next week.

Personally I don't think it's worth it. If it's just to avoid the hassle of putting up tents etc I'd go with the http://kipngo.com/ put the extra cash towards a good sleeping bag, mat and beers.

Not really based on the hassle, more so I heard there's a good vibe in PM, private bar and we have a good crew there who had their tickets already. Sure even if it's not great it's only an extra 100 quid. Not the worst.
Ah if there's a gang of you and it's only costing you 100 quid then it's not too bad. Some people I know are paying 400 quid to camp there which I think is madness. Although I've the benefit of camping in the main arena so I've never had the misfortune of being in one of the main campsites. Might be the best 400 quid they've ever spent.

Was gonna avoid that area but would love to see Utah Saints. Do you reckon they'll play their own tunes or others?

Utah Saints were superb in the day. Must have their stuff somewhere - probably on cassette! :O
They've been touring again, & stuff, I think. Saw their name come up in places.
Would be up for seeing them, for sure.

    https://www.aldi.ie/bauhn-multipurpose-powerbank/p/079195166617000

Usage: Approx. 2.5hrs (at 2.1V continuous discharge )

    That's 5,250mah. My phone takes 3000mhr
    ...so 1.5 charges

Did anyone go to the Groove Festival in Bray last weekend, I notice there was also a Groove festival in Scotland the same weekend although the Scottish event was a one dayer in the former RockNess festival site. I wonder if they were connected, the Irish one was 19th and 20th August and the Scottish one 19th. Primal Scream and UB40 headlined the Irish one whilst Faithless (DJ set), Skream, Patrick Topping and Theo Kottis headlined the Scots one among others. I could have started a new thread but seeing as everyone here is festival nuts I'd though I'd just mention it anyway.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Just wondering what to expect in the way of tracks from Young Fathers. This is the most recent setlist I could find, Dour, festival in Belgium about a month ago. I'd be delighted with this next weekend. Only John Doe missing from my wishlist.
