Help!! Maynooth Science course!!

I want to know if the Maynooth science course is like a general science course like in DCU or UCD? For example you get to do all sciences in first year and pick to do biotechnology, applied physics etc in second year? Or is just science all the way? Help please!

Here's the outline of the course, as you can see you do a few (4) subjects in first year, 3 in second year and then 2 in third year. For final year you either keep doing the two you did in third year or specialise in just one. However biology and chemistry don't seem to specialise any further as they do in some other colleges.
