I'm sure it's already been asked, but has anyone any clue who the guy is on the rear of the tokens? Great spot, really enjoyed my night there.

Was in Token last night, dying this morning from all the tasty beers. Overall a great experience, Sadly the joystick kept pushing down and jump only worked once every 5 pushes on GNG, they should really have spare panels they can quickly swap for the more popular games.
Someone mentioned PAC-MAN playing fast in a previous post, if definitely plays fast, really ****ing fast.
The pinballs need some serious work, simpsons was turned off and they had to turn off roadshow after I told them the flipper wasn't working properly, although I wouldn't blame them, I know the work it takes to maintain them so I wouldn't expect them all to be working every night. But levelling them would be a start and the tilt is wayy to sensitive, ball gets stuck, tap the machine and TILT...
They could do with a couple more generic cabs with some classics like puzzle bobble, pang, bubble bobble, ghouls n ghosts, frogger, etc, etc

Is there no pang? Very disappointed if that is so, so say it ain't so.

I don't know if it's just beacuse I'm used to japanese parts but the sticks on the CE cab and the VMvSF cab were unusuable, I couldn't even hold down back.
The ones on the tekken cab felt fine though.

    They need a multiwilliams

they need Wonderboy, Rygar, Kiki Kai kai, Jackal etc less beat em ups. also new buttons and sticks on all machines.

I get that they're going for multiplayer games but if that's the case they need some 4 player beatemup, and maybe Bomberman, Gauntlet and Super Sprint or Super Off Road. They're not spoilt for space though so hard to say what should stay and go. Supermans pretty rubbish I guess.

    Gauntlet would be amazing fun.

    They're missing some absolute classics.
    E.g.
    Pang
    Bubble bobble
    Puzzle bobble
    Ghouls n ghosts
    Track n field/88 games
    Bombjack
    Frogger
    Galaga/galaxian
    Rtype

Then they've some barely used stuff
Plenty of room down stairs where the pinballs are, 10 generic cabs down there wouldn't go astray

You say that, but have you been down there during events? It is really quite crowded.

I don't know if they would ever take on a MAME machine, but that would probably satisfy a lot of minor game selections. I imagine they will rotate out machines that aren't seeing so much love. It's difficult to get it all in there - no matter how much they'd have, people would always be saying 'how do they not have x'.

I didn't even know there were any events in there to be honest. What go's on down there?

I wouldn't like to see a MAME machine in there, but there is a few decent JAMMA switchers available on the market if they were really stuck that they could say run Ghosts N Goblins/Ghouls N ghosts from the same machine and say Frogger, pacman and so on, they could definitely fit more cabs upstairs, there is a lot of wasted space, it just needs some thought. I'm just talking 5 to 10 generic cabs in a row could cover most the classics, be those candies, woodies or whatever fits best and the games could be swapped out monthly. Anyway I think their main priority at the moment should be getting all their machines joysticks and buttons working(along with space panels) and the pinballs serviced/leveled and some better lighting down there. Last day I was in there out of the 9 pinballs, 2 were switched off and 2 others had issues, mainly balls getting stuck due to poor levels and not being able to release the ball without hitting the Tilt.

A MAME machine or pandoras box would be grand as long as they dont use the bogey chiense parts that every MAME machine accessible to the public in Ireland has

Judging by the comments so far, they've already hit that wall in terms of sticks & buttons

Curiosity, what would be the legal implications of a MAME machine in a public business? I mean, the ROM dumps in it wouldn't technically be illegal?
