Cheap Monitor Upgrade?

Hey Folks,

I've had a Samsung T200:

for a number of years and it's a fine monitor but a little lacking in connectivity and it's not full HD. I also use a 22" Benq which is full HD but not the best quality monitor. I was looking to pick something up that would allow me to connect two monitors but which would also have an input for the likes of a PS3 (display port I'm guessing). My graphics card has dual DVI outputs as well as a display port and HDMI (Sapphire Radeon R9 270x).

So I was thinking of something like this:

Any advice, better suggestions? Budget is a little flexible but as it's not an essential purchase I don't want to spend too much.

This one is far better as it is 24 inch and cheaper but it is in Cork. To get it delivered by courier would only cost like €20.

Yea that's the one. I cannot believe I forgot to post the link. :rolleyes:

edit: Yea looks like he accepted the offer and has others lined up. I suppose at that price it's hard to see it around for long.

Thanks for that- both fair prices but a little lacking in connectivity. I need at least two digital inputs as well as the VGA. So HDMI or DisplayPort as well as DVI and VGA.

Those LG models were very decent for a reasonable price. I have a 24", possibly the version before these, very good panel, nice colours and viewing angles. The only fault with its was the shakey stand! I'm not sure if they fixed that in later models like this one. I had it on a monitor arm however so didn't bother me much. Got a new monitor last year, so its been sidelined and mostly gathering dust since.

So folks, I bought one of the below HP panels from the US. It gets terrific reviews and I like the array of inputs. It's just arrived today but for the life of me I can't figure out how to connect it to the base. Any suggestions?

Looks like it should just slot down onto it? Everything going horribly wrong, you can always get a VESA mount for it.

Figured it out just before home time. There were some very subtle screw holes in the base unit.
