This is starting to remind me of last night's battle on Game of Thrones. Roscommon better wheel out that magic catapult pretty soon.:P

Seriously though, the 'Super 8' won't be very super if this game and the other three q-fs are representative of the gap between the 'big four' and the rest in football...

Thugish punch there to a man pinned down on the ground. Should be a straight red.

Is a punch or attempted punch not a straight red?

Usually when you see Andy Moran celebrating a score it's followed by a Mayo collapse. At least they've avoided that today 😊

Ger their cars are probably still where they left them.

Roscommon went out to try and rough Mayo up and provoke them but they forgot that they needed to kick some scores too. Poor tactics by McStay and McHale.

What positives can you possibly get out of this performance from Roscommon ?

Cassidy's has been atrocious. The very basic requirement of a commentator is to have a clear speaking voice and he's failed in that area, how the hell he got the job is beyond me.

Hard to think that Jim McGuinness threw him out for saying too much!!

They finish their year as Connacht Champions?

Mayo will surely see Kerry out on current form?

What form? They've been struggling all season. Don't read too much into a Roscommon implosion

They should be thankful they weren't playing Dublin, Mayo have missed a lot of very scorable chances, the dubs forwards would have been far more clinical.

That they will get a good tactically aware manager for next year and that they werent playing a top team like Dublin

Mayo should be a good match for Dublin if they meet in the final. They beat Roscommon by 22 points, Dublin could only manage a 21 point margin. And Roscommon were not taking the League seriously.

Some stats person might be able to find out is that the biggest ever replay victory. Very strange that two teams who were evenly matched a week ago, could be so far apart today.

    Happens all the time.

The better team usually learn from their mistakes from the first day and the weaker team usually can't repeat their level of performance 2 weeks in a row.
