Nah it's hard when a team pushes up well which Mayo are very good at, and then your midfield are terrible to go along with it. Can't kick long can't kick short.

What's the attendance at the game today? Was it necessary to bring everyone all the way over to Dublin again?

The amount of over carrying is driving me mad.

    ___

I fear Mayo will have spunked their load in this match.

Hard to tell if Mayo are playing well or Roscommon are playing absolutely terrible, probably both!

This is the Mayo that might at least give Kerry a game

Nope. He's brutal. The amount of pressure he's putting on his defence from his kickouts is ridiculous.

There was a tongue-in-cheek post a few pages back about just giving Dublin and Kerry a semi final slot and having Tyrone v Mayo play-off. Starting to look not that bad of an idea :)

Maybe the Super 8 should be the next eight teams playing off to fill the forth semi-final slot.

(don't really think this before I get unmercifully slagged)

Didn't see this in Mayo and it's a half of football that puts them firmly back in contention. I guess the mayo support have been waiting for this all year.

Nope. He's brutal. The amount of pressure he's putting on his defence from his lockouts is ridiculous.

Whatever he's doing, it's the opposite of a lockout! :pac:

Don't know what to make of that first half.

Re bringing ppl back to Dublin, both managers said after the match last week they wanted to play the replay in headquarters.

Presumably the management would have given the instruction to the keeper to persist with those short kick outs. Farcical.

It was nice of Dublin to allow use of their stadium at short notice.

Roscommon have been awful, opened up in the middle every time

    Inappropriate autocorrect is inappropriate.

Any hope of Roscommon retaining any dignity or more of the same from Mayo?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,021 ✭✭✭Arcade_Tryer

Neither of these teams can win the All Ireland this year. No chance. Never going to happen. Impossible.

Roscommon are absolutely all over the place
That won't be mcstays fault though or to Rochford credit

Always liable to happen. Didn't think there would be such a calamitous collapse.

Joe Brolly wearing suitable clothing for a Roscommon funeral.

When do they hold them? :)

PaddyPower have Mayo to score 2 more goals at 4/1, if they want to be ruthless in the second half they could easily get that.

Retaining he says. You cant retain what you aint got. Brolly's word 'hapless' is right. This is so bad it will affect Rosc deep into 2018

As a Mayo man am worried that as easy as this is proving we still missed several very easy scores by kicking the ball into the goalies hands early in the game....mistakes that would cost you in a tighter game.

Kerry will be quaking in their boots watching this annihilation of the Connacht champions

Ah Jesus, can you not just enjoy them scoring 17 in one half? :o
