I'm hoping that if Run the Jewels do play the Friday (which seems likely) they're on the main stage before The XX instead headlining opposite them.

RTJ are nailed on for the Electric Arena imo, London Grammar play the Friday and i'd imagine they'll be on the main stage.

May have been mentioned earlier in the thread, but has there been indication or research on which main acts will be playing on the Sunday?

    Something like this!

Will day by day be something like this? If we can keep quoting this post and fill in as we go along

    Friday;
    The XX
London Grammar (In Italy the 3rd, so likey @EP fri)
    Run the Jewels

I notice LG are bumped rather far DOWN the line up poster? Their Dublin and Belfast gigs in nov sold out in 5 minutes (No exaggeration!!), as did their UK gigs!

    Saturday
    A tribe called quest
    Pete Tong?
Interpol (Other gigs on the 1st and 3rd)

I could see Tribe being on early and Pete Tong doing the late night slot, that to me is the only way to make ATCQ work!!

    Sunday
    Duran Duran
Elbow (Their web site says 3rd)

Elbow would be just perfect Sunday around fivish , beers and sunshine

    For sure.

Last year I took shelter near Salty Dog after those class Rasher sandwiches for a while at about 11am by the little "cabin" and those f*ckwits from the Happy Pear walked past in the muck in flip flops....and they laughed at us.

    W*nkers.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of Metalmaka or Metalmalika, I can't remember his name, he's a moderator that posts on here sometimes and he works the events?

If memory serves he does/did security at festivals. PM is probably the best.

Being nosey but now I want to know what you want to ask :D

Its looking dodgy for advance volunteering this year, it seems that Festival Republic doesn't seem to want us this year they reckon they can get security to do our jobs, so I'm trying to find another way to get work at the festival if possible as I don't want to miss the event.

Nice of them to give a decent bit of notice.

You'll get a weekend ticket for less than 70 quid on toutless.

Was hoping for flaming lips for e.p but think that ship has sailed, Justice would be a nice addition, and as I said the lemon twigs. Warpaint, angel Olsen, Kate tempest and DJ shadow too please. Is my wishlist getting a bit long? Started a new job and can't book holidays for the first fortnight, so literally quizzing everyone casually to see if anyone else has their eye on E.P weekend. So far, I don't think so! *phew*

They're playing, aren't they? Really looking forward to them.

is this a joke? demand is huge this year judging by the toutless thread.

i was confident earlier in the year of getting a ticket for face-value handy the week of the event, but not so sure now

Fear not, you will get one for face or close to face. Any 50,000 event will always have a reasonable amount of last minute 'cant go' victims. The real question is can you get one for early bird face value

    This.

Always easy to pick up cost price EP tickets the week of the event.

I'm fairly sure this is my third year in a row posting this. We even had quite a heated debate on this in last years thread, with some poster suggesting that it would be sensible to pay 50 quid over the odds a month out because they would only get more expensive closer to the date. :D

Unless Elvis and Michael Jackson are duetting with Abraham Lincon on guitar and Bowie on the saxaphone, then the tickets are not going to get more expensive in the run up.

Finally got word from the people at EP, filled in my application form and there will be a proper decision by the end of the week so fingers crossed. :)
