I've just gotten an Electrolux EWX127410W washer-dryer, to replace an old broken one. Everything seems to work fine, but I've noticed that, when drying, there's a constant low chugging sound. I think it's the drain pump running (it's the same sound it makes when it's just about run out of water after drying). Is it normal for this to run constantly in the drying cycle? My old machine was so noisy drying that I wouldn't have heard it if it was happening.

that's normal, to get rid of the steam from the drying process a fine spray of water is let into the machine which in turn has to be pumped out
