    Returns tonight on USA.

I read a good article this morning with the executive producer. This season basically skips book 2 in the series (Black Light) and goes to book 3 (Time To Hunt). They reckon it's more of a logical continuation of the first book/series.

There have been some reported posts about possibly moving this to the Online TV forum (since Shooter is on Netflix).

It's not exclusively online (some people who watch don't have netflix) so I think the lowest common denominator forum is this one.

Great 1st episode, I was really looking forward to this returning and the 1st episode has me hooked already. I like the way we have caught up with all the main characters and there was no time wasting setting up the new plot!

No need for 2 forums. It's been causing problems since it was created.

Yes a really strong opening episode and a great setup for the season to come.

Just watched it now and a very strong start as said above. Hopefully it'll turn out to be as season 1 was.

Completely agree with this... TV is TV regardless of whether you watch it on terrestrial/satellite, Netflix or "cousins". One forum is all we need.

Just got to start this season tonight, two good episodes to start it off

I think Mrs. Swagger might be in trouble next week. Great episode this week.

I always thought Josh Stewart was badly miscast in Criminal Minds, but he is brilliant in Shooter.

Season 2 will end on episode 8 due to Ryan Phillippe breaking his leg. They had been filming episode nine at the time.

The end of episode 8 works as a season finale, apparently.

I don't believe that for one minute. I know it was due to a freak accident, but I think it is going to be very frustrating and unsatisfactory for fans when that episode airs.

Seemed to be PTSD for her, possibly. Very good episode again.

I dunno, I read it to be that the last 2 episodes could be just been filling out the 10 episode requirement.

I think it has more to do with the sniper dude landing into Texas.

Ok well Damm this is a great show three really top class episodes so far.

The more I think about it I don't want them to force an end to the season with episode 8 just wait for Phillippe to get well and shoot the final two episodes and tack them onto the start on next season.

No let up, another hour of very good entertainment.

    The revenge will be sweet.

Enjoyable once again, a nice easy watch while moving the story far enough along.

It was done well paralleling the scenes. I knew it wouldnt after it showed the bad guy sneaking by the window, saw a pot with wires behind him. Then when he scrambled away you knew which would happen.

Does raise the question though, what house gets kitchen roll delivered? Bar the Swaggers evidently!

Hah, yes - the kitchen roll thing. I almost thought they were going a little Seven there and later on, shoot the hostage a la Speed, when Bob Lee put Issac down. :pac:

Julie found some comfort in the collar, at least.

This show has me on the edge of the seat. Always expecting the family to be nabbed but it's just hanging there.

The car was ridiculous, could only laugh at that. Looming forward to next scene at the church though.

    Always handcuff someone from behind.

    Good episode.

I'm new to this series... I started on series 1, but gave up as I thought it mirrored the film too much...
this second season is excellent though... really enjoying it..
Phillippe is able to pull off the dangerous hitman/Marine/assassin very well... I was a bit surprised by that...

Your right season 1 does mirror the movie alot however it's well worth watching as it's a good quality show and also sets up the main characters nicely for the 2nd season. I have to admit it's one of the few shows i look forward to each week.
