Seen them in Vicar St a few year back and was left very unimpressed ,. ..another band I seen in Dublin are back with the lead single from new album.

Listened to this, this morning on the way to work. Absolutely beautiful. Completely fell in love with Lost in a Dream. And still listen to it over and over again. It’s one of those very few albums that I think I’ll never get sick off. Haven’t even delved into any of their backlogue yet. Can’t wait for the new album. If it’s anything like Lost.. it will be fantastic.

I was also at the Vicar St gig. I liked it but wasn’t blown away. I think it dragged on a bit too long. But I didn’t know the older stuff which was predominantly played at the end, so I guess the issue was with me.

Didn’t know they had a tour list out. That’s horrible news that no Ireland. When I was listening to new tune, I was looking forward to checking them out live again, but this time with more familiarity with old stuff.

A Blaze Of Feather are Ben Howards band I believe.

new Beck - it's a bit meh IMO, like his last couple of singles, well produced and bouncy but not much going on underneath. There is apparently (finally) an album coming in October titled "Colors"

Recently came across a band called Immanu El, a Swedish post rock band with vocals. Nothing you haven't heard before, but pretty good all the same. Similar to Oceansize in places.
