I honestly dont think Mayweather gives a toss if people like him or not, all he cares about is money.

I'm worried about Conor, he thinks it's 2018, must have got one too many knocks in the ring.

The exchange between Conor and Floyd Senior last night was superb. Senior carrying on like a drunken Grandad ranting in a pub. :pac:

Conor really enjoyed it too. "You're a fan senior I know you are" was very funny.

Just watched Conor and Senior there, epic stuff.
Also got to see a bit more natural-ness from Conor on the comebacks, along with his natural accent, not the dumbed down one for the Americans.

That's the stuff we want to see

I thought Conor dancing on stage was cringe at the time but 8 minutes on stage alone with 20000 people staring at him.

Floyd and Showtime did really well to stitch him up like that.

It could have been a really good event to sell the PPV but Floyd and Showtime ruined it.

I agree it was a failure but they can easily correct it now tonight.

Are we getting the three lads chatting again at the start?

Pathetic crap to be at from them tbf and it really just shows how much Floyd fears what McGregor has to say that they were willing to go to these lengths to try and stifle him......... and even try and keep anything he said to Floyd in the face off from the ears of the public too. That's some serious attempts at controlling what the viewing public might think.

If it was the other way around and Floyd was coming to fight in the UFC, does anyone think they would behave the same way and cut Floyd's mic or try and prevent viewers hearing what he had to say to a UFC fighter. No chance. They showed last night they play dirty and I think we might see some retaliation at some point this week, if not necessarily tonight.

Apparently only Mayweather apparel was allowed to be sold at the Stadium last night.

Everyone is going on about McGregor's comebacks, but Mayweather just sat there all the time and said nothing when McGregor was talking. That's what made McGregors "speech" so poor. He thrives on interaction but stutters and stammers when he has to speak any length on his own.

Also that suit and the message on it...embarrassing.

each to their own but that suit epitomizes everything that this fight is about. Classless, tasteless, but brings the majority of people entertainment.

Going by the audio from the face off, Floyd doesn't seem to be great at the trash talk if it's not rehearsed.
Conor can come up with stuff on the fly, and it's usually funnier than anything he may have rehearsed as well. Floyd just repeats the same thing over and over.

It's bad when people are getting more of a kick out of your da having a bit of back and forth with your opponent.

To be fair can you imagine how difficult it would be to come up with a monologue in front of 20,000 people for 8 minutes when you weren't expecting it. Add to that that he'd intentionally been left to stand around out there like a spare prick immediately prior to it. It'd take a special level of self belief not to go to pieces. I think under the circumstances he ad-libbed quite well. The 2 corporate guys who were on before him were reading from notes and still found it difficult not to stammer and lose track of what they were reading.

If they try and pull the same stunt on him tonight you can bet he'll have better material. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

Enjoyed some of the bits when the mic was switched on.

if Showtime didn't cut the mics, then Mayweather Productions did.

Showtime released a statement denying they cut Mac's mic lol. Nobody is buying that.

The presenter was bragging that some tickets were being sold for 40 dollars :D

Showtime also saying that they didn't cut off the mics. Absolute horse****.

Hopefully the backlash will lead to some more interaction.

The statement that Showtime released is absolute tripe.

Do I really have to listen to Brendan Schaub again... Really? For God's sake. The guy is an embarrassment. Could think of very few worse candidates to be the "mma guy" on this tour
