So your claim that this guy "acted multiple times to cause harm to CNN and individual employees of CNN.", boils down to just one incident, where he labelled various CNN employees as Jewish.
He didn't try to incite any violence and this information was probably fairly obvious to start with.
If he was posting "here's a list, lets get them" you'd have a point, but he didn't.
And I'm guessing CNN didn't see it as much of a threat either or they'd have probably reported it to the authorities and would have left the guy alone.

CNN is not publishing "HanA**holeSolo's" name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same.

CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.

Seems awfully like a threat to me.

Just came across this - if anyone was wondering exactly why so many people, particularly Trumpeteers, regard CNN as showing clear bias and violating ethics:

Again, one must admit that even if all of these incidents are misunderstandings and taken out of context as CNN keeps claiming, they're really not doing themselves any favours by continuing to push their agenda so hard that it becomes a more important consideration than journalistic integrity.

do you know what journalistic integrity is? admitting you made a mistake and apologising. You love to bash CNN but i dont remember any alt-right news sources admitting they got something wrong. they just go on the offence and publish even more crap until the original crap is forgotten.

It took me 20 seconds to find the tweet and story. Spend at least that long looking up stuff and your quality of information will rise with it.

Being technically challenged I struggle to post videos but I'm sure you all remember that white supremacist, Richard Spencer who got punched in the head whilst doing a TV interview on the streets?
Then someone else came along and edited that clip with New Orders "Blue Monday" playing in the background with the punch being landed multiple times in quick succession, in time to the beat? (I found it on YouTube by an account called Communist Manifesto (with their six subscribers!))

So hands up anyone who defends the right of CNN to dox the "...vile racist kid..." who also believe the editor of the Richard Spencer/Blue Monday clip should also be doxxed?

In the racially tense gun happy southern USA (CNN is in Atlanta), having your face and identity posted on a right wing hate site could very well be taken as a threat.

The same tactic was used on abortion providing doctors back in the 80's and a few were killed.
