Something annoying happened. I thought of this thread. Now I'm here I can't remember what it is. Must have been really trivial.

Dating this girl at the moment, she's not a terrible conversationalist, but texting (sigh)

She's having a s**t week in work and I think she is off form. but anyway.

One word texts all the time, nothing says "I'm bored" or pissed off or uninterested than firing a one word text. Or even not texting back at all, 2 hours waiting on a text back. Drives me up the wall. Supposed to be seeing her this weekend, simply not being in any way interested in writing more than a one word text and being engaged in the conversation or not bothered at all, is becoming a real put off.

With a bit of luck you won't be dating her much longer and you'll be married.
Imagine a whole lifetime ahead of this!

You'll be thankful one day to be with a woman who doesn't say much, I know I am! :p

She's alright in person but when you're texting her it's like talking to a different person. I could write a good 3 or 4 lines or a paragraph and when I get back an "Ok" or a "Yep" or "Yeah" or one word related to what I said. Things just explode in my head. Expand a bit on the one word ffs!!

I like a bit to read, it's more stimulating.

some people just don't like texting that much. for me it is just for basic exchange of important information. If i want a chat with somebody i'll call them or meet up with them.

Yeah it sounds like a communication issue. I wouldn't want to be replying to someone who gives me a one liner especially if I sent a paragraph but maybe she doesn't like to text, some people don't. I far prefer texting over talking on the phone but it's a personal preference I suppose and I think it can be a generational thing too. Or maybe she's just in bad form because of work and doesn't feel like talking.

Airports that give you boarding 'cards' on paper that's thinner than Tesco receipts!!

Hate asking people to do favours for me. I'd literally do anything for anyone but whenever I ask a favour off someone I feel awkward and like they'd prefer to tell me to feck off. Nearly wish they would.

I saw a loaf of bread with 'ancient grains' in it in the supermarket earlier. Ancient fcuking grains. It could be the nicest bread in the country and I wouldn't buy it. The pretentiousness!

Apparently this is the only thing to use for making cheese on toast according to trendy foodie types. Utter tosh.

The use of the word faux by a lot of posters on boards. I never hear people in normal daily life use it. The only time I'd ever see it would be a description of a faux material like faux fur say but on here it's faux outrage or some faux concern bla bla bla. Am I alone here in the fact it annoys the sh!te out of me?

Have to go out for dinner and drinks for a friends birthday straight after work but I wish I could go just home, have a scalding shower and watch Netflix in my pjs with some dominos.
Why am I so antisocial. I feel like my Friday has been taken away from me :o

When you message your friend after a night out but wake up in the morning and realise that you messaged the entire group ...mortified and never leaving the house again.

I was in a pharmacy the other day and I banged my elbow on something. I couldn't curse to relieve the pain because there was an elderly woman right beside me and it was really quiet so I had to hold it in!

I totally feel you. Nothing worse than committing to plans when you're in a good mood, and then when the time comes around you'd actually rather die.

My TA- I've never had as many colds and virus' mid year as I have this year. This is my third cold I'm fighting off in the space of six weeks. I feel miserable. Bleugh.
