Elbow and Phoenix are both solid additions, but nothing too special.

I reckon a lot of tickets will now appear on Toutless, Donedeal, etc.

You expected them to announce that the already announced headliners were no longer the headliners? You're only setting yourselves up for disappointment with these bizarre notions.

By the by, I agree that the headliners are weak.

Some good additions, headliners are still not headliners though. Elbow should be there. The rest though, it's going to be a dead main stage.

As much as people give out about Oxygen at least it was a bit of competition. There was no money spent on a heavy hitter in that line up.

    Man that's underwhelming

I'm disappointed anyway. Naively held out hope for some bigger acts to be added. The under card was decent originally.
    Interpol
    Band Or Horses
    London Grammar
    Michael Kiwanuka
    Car Seat Headrest
    Soulwax
    Father John Misty

Phoenix and Elbow are nice addition but no wow factor for me personally.

Ah well, we just have to get on with it now. It'll be a decent weekend regardless.

Here's hoping that a spotify session will uncover a few gems like the original line up...still though...maaaaaan that's bad squishy

There's still quite a lot I'd like to see so I'm pretty happy but I think its clear that (due to its popularity) festival republic have clearly reduced spending on EP at the expense of their other festivals which aren't doing as well.

Obviously I know its all down to your own personal taste etc etc, but just giving my opinion on todays announcement, and that is one of disappointment. Was hoping for a few more mid-range acts to get excited about. Still going though, I have wellies I got in pennies 2 years ago that need an outing (and happy with the lemon twigs addition)

They added Blur and Sam Smith late a couple years ago, went straight to headliners obviously. Last year Noel Gallagher and 1975. Whether they're your cup of tea or not, they're pretty big acts compared to this addition.

I'm actually very happy with the additions and the lineup overall.

Not sure what people wanted, tbh.

Everything everything put on an amazing live show. Can't wait for that.

The last act on the main stage should have you rocking out of the arena. That's not going to happen.

Were all going to be heading out to the forest chanting Hungry like a Wolf....

If you need some perspective on how crap the lineup is for the money you pay have a look at the lineup for Glastonbury and have yourself a little cry

    http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up/line-up-2017/?stage

And before anybody says you can't compare the festivals, have a look at the lineups for both 5 or 6 years ago
