Left out the creep feeder with lambs the other day to drive them on a bit but they haven't touched it yet or won't go inside anyone any ideas as to how to train them to eat from it? Or do they just learn as time pass?

I would let my pets lambs out with main bunch as the pets are used to eating out of the creep feeder they will help train the others.

Unless there's something very unusual about them, they will learn in time.
When they start properly, they never leave the feeder

if they dont take after a while catch one and hold its head into the bin until it sees the meal and will eat away

Have you any really small ewe that might squeeze into the feeder and show the lambs how it's done?

On a related note, we're weaning lambs at the weekend and will give them a few cubes to help with the transition. The plan is to leave the last few ewes that lambed with their lambs, and they'll show the rest of them what troughs are for.
