I have been lucky enough to have played PoGo in a handful of big cities in the US (and a couple of hours in London last month)

Got two random evolution items today, haven't got one outside of the 7 day streak for a while now! Think I got a bit sunburned out walking today too

Saw on reddit that the gyms should be going down during business hours (US) on Monday, so we should be able to collect one last time on Monday morning.

Woke up this morning for work, wanted to collect coins before heading in, so logged in and low n behold a Lapras! First of d event, wasn't in my apt sadly so had a decision to make... 20 mins late for work but I've now got a 1654 cp Lapras!

232 caught, 235 seen. Evolved Feragator and Thypolsion as part of my 7day streak, with Lucky Egg

Completed my Pokadex bar Unown and still in need of a Shiny Magikarp.

Just over halfway through level34 (680,000) and hoping this Gym rework helps keep game going.

Otherwise a countdown to Gen3 begins.
Plan to keep plugging away but without the grind, till then.

Legends could work too!

How much xp has everyone got during this event? I've been catching every little cretin and walking galore with constant lucky eggs and have just passed 1.25 million XP since the event started. Started the event at 5000 XP on level 32 and I'm currently half way through level 33. I'm aiming for level 34 before the event ends.

A mere 200k for me, although I plan to hatch 5 eggs and get my streak tomorrow during a lucky egg evolve. But xp doesn't really motivate - its all about the dex for me.

Haven't got as much XP as you, but I'm nearing about 650k, and I have tomorrow off so hopefully can get in at least another 150k. I have four 10km eggs about to go off so that's 40k right there. So making a nice dent into level 37.
I've had a lucky egg on constantly aswell and I've gone for nice or great throws rather than trying to gamble on excellent throws. Much easier to get nice and great.

I think this has been my favorite event so far, I'm up to near 350 Cyndaquil candy the last few days. Got a Lapras aswell this morning. Only regret so far is missing a Charizard just down the road from me yesterday evening.

Anyone know the story with new pokestops? A new one just appeared near me recently, wasn't anything before and it's right beside 2 more so it's not in an area where it was needed

First I've heard of this in Ireland. Very high level Ingress players are able to approve some of the backlog of portal submissions that also make up the locations of pokestops. They can do so in a doughnut-like shape around them, in the hope they won't just approve submissions near them. There of course is a trust issue where dedicated players may still just approve ingress portals willy-nilly and that may have happened here.

I've seen one new Pokestop near where I live in the last few weeks aswell, next to a gym in a remote-ish location. It's a gym I usually hit regularly on a weekend when I had some spare time and there was never a Pokestop next to it until about 4/5 weeks ago

About 950k so far. Did a good bit of walking on Thurs, Fri and yesterday. Only went out for the duration of a lucky egg today, it was just too hot out, lol. I have 4 lucky eggs left for tomorrow and Tuesday, and I'm running out of pokemon storage, and keep having to delete some, so I don't think I'll buy anymore eggs once these are gone.

anyone get soft banned for completing a catch much later?
I was down the country for the weekend , clicked on a large shellder but closed my phone.
Just popped over to a gym there and when I opened the phone there was shellder waiting to be caught.
Caught him and ever since I can't interact with the gym, the pokestop spins and nothing happens and every mon runs after 1 ball.

only thing I can think of is the late catch of the Shellder.

Up to 233 now just missing Amphoros and unown. (picked up Tauros in the states late last year and Corsola in the Philippines in Feb)

Nah I'm gonna give it a miss still won't load on my phone and nearest stop is 15 minutes walk away, not worth a 30 minute round trip, next Monday or Pokekarma will give me a kings rock From One If My Spins Tomorrow.
