    Hello,

I've been trying to replace the wheels of my patio door for a while, does anybody know where can I find these kind of wheels? Or could point me to somewhere or somebody that could help me?

I had 2 professionals already coming to my house to try to replace them and both left because they didn't know how to remove the door (I manage to do that myself eventually)

    Thanks everybody

Is it a aluminium sliding door.in 20 years that iv been repairing windows and doors I have never seen this single wheel config.I would say you will have to get a set of double wheels and retro/modify the door to take them.can you put up more pictures of the door and I can tell you more

What's wrong with the wheels? Bearings gone (in which case replace the bearings. If the wheels collapsed or badly worn then have them knocked up on a lathe by an engineering workshop (plastic or steel)

I replaced ones like those with regular twin wheeled sliders a good few years ago. It was on a very old door.

Generally speaking, there's only 2 bolts on each side, the one holding the assembly to the bottom rail, and another holding the roller to the stile

That bit that's riveted on would get in the way of a traditional two wheeled roller though. Seems to be plenty like yours available online.

Thanks for all the replies, I think the problem is that the wheels have collapsed, I'm going to try to remove it and see if the wheel can be replaced or fixed.

Do you know anywhere in Dublin that can sell wheels or fix the whole thing, or just sell me a new one?

Window and door accessories in D17 might be able to source a pair.

I had to replace the rollers myself a few months ago. Got the part from Slivers in Sligo. http://silvershardware.com/38mm-multi-single-wheel-patio-roller-p-1447.html
Good website for finding parts and the deliver too
