    5/1 is weak tbh

50/1 would be weak in all honesty Mick. The taxi man fighting Paddy Barnes this weekend is 12/1 in comparison...and he has 16 wins.

In this country, the amount of lads who can afford to slap 100,000 on Floyd to win 10,000 is small.

Whereas "for the craic" you'll have half a million lads slapping on everything from a fiver to a monkey on Conor.

The liabilities for a Conor win will be huge. They can't go much bigger than 5/1. In fact, I imagine he'll shorten.

    :)

You really have no idea how it all works. Its all just one inter connected gambling world.

Nobody wants to see your little cocktail sausage flapping about the place. :pac:

Floyd should win, but when was the last time he knocked anyone out, he has no power, just great defence and counter, he could easily get caught. I think it's win win for both anyway and will be much more interesting than the bore that is professional boxing at present

Be doing well to get 5k on in Boyles Or Ladbrokes I'd say. Maybe Powers might take more? These are places that limit me to €53 and the likes on 13/8 shots.

Your wrong I am afraid. Plenty of bookies who will not limit you. I can put you in touch if needs be.

Hearing Joe.ie get a 10% cut of ppv because of the amount of ****e they'll string out of this.

You'll never guess what Floyd Mayweather just posted to Instagram.

Any of the big ones will in my experience.

I'm not a big punter by any means but if I want under €100 on anything 2/1 or less it shouldn't even be an issue. Powers online will limit you, ring and ask the traders and you might get a bit more but not the full amount you want.

Gotta hold my hands up and admit up until the announcement I thought it was just a scam by both to keep themselves in the spotlight.

Can see past an easy Mayweather win but still gonna watch it & probably get the PPV & make a night of it.

Unbelievable career path for McGregor in the space of 4 years. I'd love him to be able to come up with a plan to make it competitive but reckon it'll be a ref stoppage or McGregor's corner throwing in the towel around 7 - 10 rounds

Boxing has been tremendous this year. So many great fights.

This puts a stain on what has been an amazing year for the sport.

Ya you would know who I am from the past around here (different but similar name) But you could add a few zeros to the figures you have and it would be no issue with us. I dont doubt what you are saying about Powers.

I see John Kavanagh is already off at Mayweather on Twitter, saying
if u ever wondered how a 12yr old boy would act if they suddenly had a lot of money #MayweatherIsMentallyChallenged
and a link to a video if Mayweather getting on his jet. He is pretty quiet when McGregor is driving around in a rented Lambo.

I've said it possibly a dozen times but I'll repeat it:

Chael is right: Coaches should coach. Fighters should promote and fight.

I don't like anyone slagging off others as being "mentally challenged"... it's insulting to people with genuine mental challenges.

Sigh this will be a long 2 months I should just delete Twitter.

Considering how McGregor is doing exactly what "Money May" did, this makes no sense.

Conor has been strangled in front of the world, getting schooled by the best ever wont be 1/10th as bad or embarrassing for him or his ego the more I think the less I think it will effect his pull or aura in mma.

Drinking game, neck one every time Conor/Kavanagh bring up Floyd not being able to read.

IMHO 5,000/1 on Leicester City has the bet of the decade wrapped up. I think there was a good few people who had a fiver or a tenner on it.

The announcement of the Mayweather fight is effectively the announcement of McGregor's retirement from MMA. His career is now over. You have to hand it to him, he has achieved an awful lot in a very short period. Well done sir.
