    Hi guys,

Looking to get a cat flap installed in a sidewall of the house. Can anyone recommend a company possibly Dublin/Leinster based that might do this kind of work?

    Cheers

I bought the cat flap and took it to a company that makes pvc Windows. They made me the frame, with cat flap installed, I then hired a builder to knock a hole in the wall, install the frame and give it a neat finish.

I'm very happy with the result.

Thanks! I didn't have a suitable door to fit a flap so this was the next best thing. It's now the door for the dog as well. It's a big cat/small dog size flap.

    That is very cool.

Do you happen to remember the name of the company that did the PVC Windows?

Interesting. The other alternative is a tunnel-style with a flap at both ends. They use them in Canada, I think.

I'd be most concerned about insulation and airtightness/draught-proofing.

Any PVC window maker should be able to make the frame.
