Currencies coming out wrong on initial posts

    This is an ongoing problem that seems to have started about 6 months ago.
    This is on the non-responsive site.

    Entering sterling symbol comes out as: €

    Entering euro symbol comes out as some other garbage.


    Any likelihood of a fix? It's a particular pain on forums where you constantly write currencies like Bargain Alerts.

    actually in the post above the currency had no problems appearing.. usually it's garbled text

    This turned into a more complicated issue than first anticipated, so it's taking a little longer than we would have liked/expected. Hopefully a fix will be pushed live soon enough.

    This is a known issue, with a fix being worked on already.
